This lake is a beautiful spot for relaxation and renewal. You can take a boat tour, rent a boat or jet ski, walk the path around the lake, or simply sit beside this serene spot! A great place to vacation, or just a weekend getaway!

See how the "other half" lives and why Lake Geneva has been a favorite of the very rich and famous for nearly 200 years. Add in a family oriented atmosphere with great food and you have one of the midwest's hidden gems.,

Lake Geneva is a nice large lake I did some fishing you have to search out spots on land or rent a boat . Boat rental costs were on the high side a charter is more cost effective really beautiful place.

We had a really special day on Lake Geneva. We got a day pass for all the ships and spent the time visiting a variety places starting in Evian (France) and then visiting Lausanne, Vevez, Montreux, Bouveret (Switzerland). We spent a wonderful day getting taste of the areas. Highly recommended but plan your time table to get the most out of your day.

    • Very nice town with plenty to do

Lake Geneva is a very nice, friendly and clean town. It has the feel of something from the 1940s or 50s, but is modern at the same time. Lots of different shops and restaurants to satisfy everyone. One nice thing is that many of the downtown buildings retain their original architecture, which pays homage to its history. All the businesses we visited were very friendly and didnt have that youre just a tourist attitude. The lake has plenty of activities, with several beaches, fishing and boating choices. Several boating tours are available and worth taking. There is plenty of parking but it is all metered parking so expect to pay for it. But there was always a place to park and the meter kiosks are easy to use, taking cash or credit cards. We will most likely be back to see things we missed. It was a nice break from busy Long Island, NY.
