It has been a few years since we last visited and the place is still the same. Despite being here for several years, it has been well maintained and clean. The pool was specially filled up for us. Our chalets are literally a stone's throw from the beach. Even though there are a few small getaways along the beach this is still the best for us. You will definitely need a car to get here but once you do it is your own paradise. Our family were the only ones at the resort. It has all the basic amenities but a word of warning is that the beds are stone hard. Not much difference if you decide to sleep in the balcony or the bed. The breeze is so nice when lounging on the balcony. With the sound of the waves and breeze what more can you want.

This review is definitely long overdue. We found this hotel by chance during our "drive and explore" holiday and have stayed there 3 times. Jaidee Sichon (there is a another Jaidee resort in Hua Hin but not in anyway linked to jaidee Sichon) is located on the beach (the best thing) near small fishing villages and is in the middle of no where. It is not within walking distance to any shops or eateries. You really do need a car to get there and to move around. It caters more to the locals. That basically is a big plus. As it is located on the beach and the water is literally a stone throw away, you wake up and sleep to the sound of the waves. There are miles and miles of white sand for you to walk on but you have to watch out for glass etc since there are villages along the beach and as with all places there are some irresponsible people around. It is so peaceful and unspoilt. Each room is a wooden village style house with a verandah, bedroom, small pantry with a fridge and tea making facilities and a tiny bathroom. Tall people - please watch the door frame ... my hubby's forehead had an intimate chat with the top of the door frame. As the view from you chalet is the sea, you basically just sit and chill the whole day away on the verandah. As it was breezy, we had all the windows and door opened until bed time. No air conditioning required. The air conditioning was only turned on at night when we slept as we closed all the windows and door for security. Mozzies were rare but you do get that one irritating biter which is solved by spraying the room when you go out for dinner. If I am not wrong they have 10 chalets with 4 facing the sea. These are slightly more expensive at THB1600. 2 American breakfasts are included in the rate and every extra breakfast is THB100. We had breakfast served everyday on our verandah which was really nice. Once in town we normally stock up on food to binge on during our chilling sessions. There is also a small pool which is just nice for the children. You can actually do mini laps as well. The main town of Sichon is about 10 to 15 minutes away. We normally drove to town to have lunch at the stalls near the market. Dinner was normally at a restaurant called Katone in the town and you could go and explore the night market 5 minutes away from the restaurant before eating. Go early as the market closes by 8.00 pm. There is a full night market on the weekends. On normal nights, there are still stalls but not as much as on the weekends. Just in case Katone is town is closed, there is another branch further along the main highway. The hotel does have wifi but be prepared to have it interrupted several times a day.
