I stopped here for lunch with the family last Sunday on the road back from Thetford. Mum said her Sunday lunch was excellent and everything was well cooked. I opted for the smoked fish which came with 4 new potatoes and a small jug of Parsley Sauce. the fish looked like it had been starved before being killed. Very small and very poor quality. The little un had the scampi but this was not cooked well and she only ate a couple of chips and 2 balls of scampi. Really bad. Won't be going back

ReviewedWe stayed at this pub for a weekend at the races . Made to feel really welcome as soon as wee arrived . Nothing seemed to much trouble for the staff . Kiev and Kate the owners are really great . Rooms clean got all you need for a weekend base . Food is really good as well . Definitely will stay there again next year .

ReviewedNot far from the racecourse or Cambridge the location is what brought me here. A decent traditional village pub with accommodation in what was the stable block. Bed comfortable, could hear the next door occupant very easily, enough car parking. Food decent and staff very friendly. WiFi didnt extend to the room which was a bit frustrating. Overall not bad.
