We came bcs of great Italian Food. Ate overpriced bad Italian food served on paper plates. My lasagne were so bad that I didnt eat anything altough I was very hungry. Good idea about the place itself but in the end its just not worth the visit and the time.

We'd already had a big meal in Modena at lunchtime, and we only wanted some wine (we thought). It was 6:00, and there was no one sitting at any of the outdoor tables. Not a good sign. But the waitress (a young Filipino woman who spoke perfect English) sat us and gave us menus. Unsure of what to get, I finally just asked her if she could help us. We wanted a couple of glasses of wine. Could she recommend any of the ones available? After a few questions about our tastes, she disappeared. She sat five pieces of stemware on the table and then brought five bottles of wine. She poured a taste of each and told us about their various qualities. We both really liked the Gavi, and over the next 90 minutes, we chatted with the waitress (or is she also a sommelier?) between her other responsibilities, and we ended up eating a salumi plate and having a glass of Sangiovese. By the end, all the tables were full, making for some good people watching. But what made our night was the kindness of that young woman with great taste in wine. If you read this, thanks again! We really had fun.

Terrible service and employee.. I visited with my family.. I was planning to order tortellini.. waitress gave me the menu in italien.. I asked what kind of meat was used in the tortellini.. the service lady told me that it is chicken.. than I asked for the english menu.. saw that it was cooked in chicken broth but nothing to do with the chicken meat.. in the open area there were 3 of those.. 2 ladies and 1 boy.. I intended to order for 3 times.. the lady kept saying that she was busy and we should wait.. I watched her to see with what she was busy with.. she was only chatting with other service girl doing nothing. Than I complained to her again.. she told me again that I had to wait.. I was really very upset and angry.. and immediately we left the place to another brasseria in the same street. I strongly advice you not to visit this terrible place.. I cannot beg and wait for 20 minutes to order lunch. Worst ever!

Spent a lovely afternoon here with family. Could not believe how quiet it was which makes it a bit soulless but I guess it has its busy times too. My advise is to get a bike. The site is huge and it can get tiring walking around especially when you go back to stalls youve passed and forgotten to buy from. The choice of food and drink is incredible and the quality is second to none. Getting here from central Bologna was easy once we worked out where to catch the bus which is across the road from Burger King at the train station. You can buy a bus ticket from the cafe at the bus stop. The staff in the cafe were very helpful and spoke good English as did the bus driver. Would definitely visit again as there are fantastic restaurants to try.
