    • Exceptional B&B!

      Reviewed 26 August 2019

This was by far the best Bed and Breakfast my husband and I have stayed at! Chris and Dave were so sweet and helpful the entire time we were there. They have a lovely place just outside of Glacier National Park. We stayed in The Highline Room which was very spacious and comfortable, located on the third floor with a private balcony. They have wonderful amenities including sitting rooms, fitness equipment, an outdoor hot tub, guest fridge, and laundry. They offered delicious filling meals, fresh and homemade, from breakfast to optional to-go lunches, and cookies in the evenings. We loved talking to them and getting to know them a little more during our stay. They offered maps and helpful tips regarding the park and surrounding areas and have bear spray and bug repellent available to borrow. They were truly the best hosts and we could not recommend their place enough!

    • Quiet country retreat with wonderful hosts

Our entire time here was so enjoyable - we stayed on the ground floor room (Camas) which had easy access in and out of the house and was in the back of the house by the sun room. Cookies and wine and coffee in the evening. A huge breakfast in the morning, where we met a variety of interesting people. Even got a goodbye hug from the hosts!

    • A home away from home

Chris and Dave made our stay at Moss Mountain Inn so comfortable and welcoming. They greeted us and showed us around the B&B when we arrived. Delicious homemade breakfasts and good local tips. Fresh baked cookies in the afternoon. Comfortable bed and fluffy soft towels. Many extra perks including a hot tub, use of washer/dryer for some mid-trip laundry, packed lunches with the most amazing homebred treats and wine/beer. Perfect location close to Glacier National Park but also close to Whitefish/Colombia Falls for good dinners and exploring outside the park. My husband and I would love to go back to Montana just to stay at Moss Mountain Inn again!

    • Summer Stay was great

      Reviewed 31 July 2019

Dave and Chris are great hosts, serving up an excellent breakfast and then warm cookies every afternoon. When we wanted to head out early most days, they packed us a to-go breakfast and also had a lunch option which we utilized. A separate coffee machine and cups meant we could still get coffee if we left early. Bug and Bear spray were nice touches as we went hiking every single day, and they were able to give us tips on our trip decisions. We were even allowed to do a small load of laundry since our trip was 10 days overall. Short distance to restaurants and the park entrance. My wife and I have stayed at several places and this one has been the most impressive. The park is very segmented, so even if you think you should stay inside of the park, there really isn't much difference than staying outside (at Moss Mtn) due to the routes you must take to get to diffferent areas. Still thinking about how Dave served us warm cookies direct from the baking tray one day! We wish our second lodging had been this impressive.

    • Fantastic B&B

      Reviewed 28 July 2019

The best B&B that we ever stayed at. The rooms were well appointed with the usual amenities. Pat & Dave thought of everything including a 4 head charger wire for multiple devices. Two common areas. A sitting room with TV/stereo & a sun room with 2 sitting areas, fridge. an elliptical & treadmill as well as a washer/dryer for guests use.. The breakfast were fantastic and varied daily. Huckleberry pancakes, home made croissants, chocolate croissants and omelettes were among the food served. In addition, freshly picked fruit, yogurt and granola were available. Dan's baking skills are astounding. Every afternoon he came around with fresh baked cookies that were left in the kitchen. Wine, red & white, was available in the common areas. Chris asked us if we wanted her to pack us a sandwich for lunch each day. Although we, declined, we did take the trail mix and extra fruit that were displayed daily. Chris & Dan thought of everything. Bear spray, bug spray, sunscreen and walking sticks were available at the front door. There was a map with a fast way to get to the park and each room and the common area had a notebook with restaurants, places of interest and safety tips. A hot tub was available in the rear yard. Unlike my experience at other B&Bs Chris and Dave often join the guest at the table near the end of the meal to answer questions. Their restaurant recommendations were excellent. They are a thoughtful couple who clearly enjoy what they are doing and care about their guests.
