    • Great location and Rooms were big

      Reviewed 03 September 2019

We stayed here and fit comfortably in the accommodations they had us in. Hotel was relaxed atmos. and pool was nice as well. We didn't get to eat at the restaurant but it looked nice and clean as soon as you walked in.

    • Very Nice

Very nice, clean hotel. Its in a nice neighborhood with everything you would want or need in town. They added on breakfast for $6 for 2 people. We felt the price was reasonable. Rooms were large, nice and comfortable. Staff was friendly. We will definitely stay again.

Though the HI is on a major road it is almost hidden and a lot of time you will have to make a U turn to get to destinations around it. The prices have increased dramatically in recent years but the accommodations have not improved accordingly. It is still clean and comfortable and they do appear to be in the process of updating the rooms. Folks usually wait until they provide an update before they make you start paying for it.

    • Great hotel friendly welcome

      Reviewed 16 April 2019

After a long flight from London to Houston we arrived at the Holiday Inn Webster for our first night before a road trip to northern Florida. From the moment we walked through the door the front desk staff led by Yvonne were very welcoming and put the whole family at ease. We were tired after a long day and they gave us a good recommendation for a family friendly restaurant (Aquarium, Kemah) and we had an early dinner and returned to the hotel for an early ish night via the bar as it was our first night. The hotel sold us some NASA tickets which was helpful and saved us queuing the following morning as we visited NASA before heading east. As we were up early i used the gym which was good and the boys and i enjoyed the pool which as it was indoor was fully open. Breakfast was ok the only part of the stay that could be improved but at least convenient as we could have it at leisure before Nasa opened at 1000. We left after being checked out by Yvonne hoping to return one day and feeling great. Recommended.

    • Don't bother eating at this hotel

      Reviewed 26 February 2019

Hotel is nice enough but don't even bother with the restaurant/bar. First of all, no ambience at all, low even by Holiday Inn standards. I inquired as to whether or not the chicken wings were breaded. You would have thought I asked them to solve a quadratic equation. The bartender finally came back and said the wings are not breaded. I ordered naked wings extra crispy, no sauce on them, with buffalo sauce on the side. The wings came out not browned at all, so puny the chicken they came from must have been on a hunger strike. Smelled of freezer burn. Most unappealing presentation of food. So I rejected and ordered the cheese quesadilla. Can't screw that up, right? It came out with just cheese - no peppers and onions as described on the menu. Had them remake it. The bartender acted like I was the first person to ask for the item actually described on the menu. So I get the re-made quesadilla which is supposed to have sour cream with it, right? Well, the teeny tiny cough syrup cup of white stuff was blue cheese dressing. Each time the kitchen screwwed up, the bartender would go over to the kitchen window and have the person fix it - and each time the cook was clueless as to what was wrong. The guy next to me ordered wings with blue cheese dressinbg and she put the blue cheese all over the wings. No I'm not joking. Asked the bartender is the cook was new. "Oh no - she's been here a couple of months." Stay away from this disaster.
