    • Use To Be A Good Place To Eat

Following the change in Upper Management they have went Totally Down Hill. Move all the Family Member to Executive Position leaving all the Field Management to Non Family Members and they have been informed to get the Bottom Line at a Great Percentage. So they have Skimped On Ingredients (or remove them all together) so that means not having as many items on the Salad Bar, as they once had for years.

    • Great pizza and friendly service

Even though the restaurant was packed with last minute Christmas shoppers our food came out quickly and was very good. Our server was sweet as she could be and took awesome care of us. She even brought us all a to go drink with our check and apologized for the wait, which was not very long at all. We have been going here for almost 20!years and the food is consistently great as is the service every time. Thank you!

    • Change the Upper Management

      Reviewed 02 December 2019

When the Family that holes the Franchise moved all the family members up as some family members retired. The employees that took all the Upper Management slots, decided to change things to make a Bigger Prophet by eliminating food items that had been on the Salad Bar for years. Plus they have the same issues with their Pizzas. Less ingredients than in years past. What a Bad Move for this Family owned Company.

We use to visit any of the Hometown Pizza establishments, but when they took the Family Members out of running the Stores they made a huge mistake. The management in every store are cutting all their products to save on money. As the upper management has them under their Thumb, to cut cost at all expenses. Which leaves the store managers cutting every where they can. So this leaves the Salad Bar empty of a lot of the items that they use to have on the Salad Bar. Now let's talk about the Pizzas, they don't have as much ingredients on them as they use to, probably between 1/3 to 1/2 as much ingredients as when the Family Members where in charge. Hopefully one of the Family Members will read this review and take notice of the Cutting of Ingredients as the New Management has put in place.

    • They are Driving this Pizza Chain into the Ground

Hometown Pizza was always a go to place for Lunch or Supper. But when they changed the Upper Management, they started Pinching Penny's to the tone of not having all the Ingredients to have a Great Salad Bar, as they have had over the years. So that is a large portion of the reasons we have stopped going to Hometown Pizza. Maybe the "Old Owners that are setting in those Big Cushy Chairs in the Corporate Office will wake up to what is going on with their Family Business. " Old Time Customer's" HELP
