    • Just because it says Holiday Inn.....

      Reviewed 15 August 2019

When I checked in I had to switch rooms because of A.C. issues. 2ncd room was like I was camping outdoors. Big stain on the carpet I was told was cranberry juice. I ruined a piece of clothing due to the iron, very dirty. Some short of stain on the wall. I told the staff and was told the housekeeper would be spoken too. I went out and came back to a pair of dirty socks left for me that were not mine. The toilet has not been cleaned in I dont know how long. I had to clean it all, the guest. When i showed the GM- Joe, i asked if he would have stayed there and he said "I would have left". Unfortunately I dont have that kind of money since this was a prepaid trip of 5 nights. He said sarcasticly wow, all that to one visit. Like I was lying. I'll show the pictures. Don't even try and make a comeback on your "manager responce" and admit these are all your shortcomings. I would like to see your boss do a surprise visit, thats my suggestion. Then I believe the job you said yes too would get done. Please please people, stay somewhere else, this is not a tyicall HI, so many hotel on the same street. This place is not worth it.

    • A Good, but not Great Hotel

My spouse and I spent one night at the Mt. Laurel Holiday Inn Express. We had a function to attend in Philadelphia and did not want to pay the prices they charge in the city; especially when you have to add in parking. Positives: Friendly and helpful staff. Zero complaints. Fairly easy access to Philidelphia. It took us less than a half hour to get where we needed to be. Not so Positive: Nosiy air conditioner. Low water presssure from the shower. Room felt a bit rundown. We were on a first room floor and could hear the people walking around above us. Final Thoughts: While I wouldn't rule out staying at this hotel again, if I found a better price at any of the other hotels that are basically next door, I would probably try them first. This one is just a bit too worn down compared to the newer ones which are their neighbors.

This is a below average HIE, especially given the room rate. Front desk staff is friendly and breakfast food was fine. But overall feel of interior is dingy and the lighting is very poor (making it seem even worse). The rug in my room was damp for my three day stay, which is gross. Linens ok but mattress was uncomfortable. Bathroom clean but just ok. I did not use any of the other amenities. I expect more from this brand.

    • A subpar Holiday Inn

      Reviewed 13 July 2019

I have frequently stayed at holiday inns as a platinum member and this one is the worst I have ever stayed at. We had a room on the 3rd fl. The bathroom door was deformed and could not be closed. It got stuck while half closing and you don't want to push it too hard for fear of scraping the floor. The closet door could not be closed and made sharp noise if you attempted to do so. The shower head made extremely loud noises when used. Anyone who did house cleaning could clearly notice the issue with the bathroom door and the closet door and I am surprised they just let it be. When checking out, I informed the front desk of the issues hoping they can fix it for the next guest and you could tell the lady at the front desk couldn't care less. She barely responded other than an impatient "en" and before I even finished explaining what went wrong she was already on the phone talking to others for a long conversation. I just dropped the key and left. My friend who traveled with me stayed at a room 3-4 doors down the hall and she said the doors in her room were fine but her shower head also made extremely loud noises.

    • Middling in just about every way

      Reviewed 05 July 2019

I stayed here for a 3-day business trip because it way the only place nearby with rooms available for government rates. The room was okay: not uncomfortable but not luxurious, not dirty but not spotless, not run down but not new or refurbished. The breakfast was not disgusting but not tasty. The service was cordial and friendly enough to be fair, I didnt make any extraordinary requests that would have put them to the test. The ceilings were thin, as I discovered when the guests upstairs tromped around until 1 AM. The air conditioning unit was noisy, although Ive had worse. I suppose its what you can expect for government rates.
