A beautiful setting with complimentary anti-aircraft artillery in the back. Fantastic attentive staff, top rate food both for breakfast and in the restaurant. Just a great place to stay, relax and enjoy.

Very nice hotel. Checking in was fast. Lobby has a good ambiance. Room is just right. But relatively small comoared to botels in the philippines. Wifi is free and fast. Though there is a deadfly in our window. See photo. Breakfast is very good though limited chpices. But still the taste is not typical of hotel food. My con is this is situated far from the city proper. About 15-20 min and sometimes it can be traffic going here.

    • Good hotel, but not excellent

Good hotel, but, despite being a five star, it is not excellent. The rooms are correct, although the views are not to the bay. Breakfast is awesome, highly recommended. The saunas and the pool are good, but they need remodeling.

    • Comfy but only the lake facing deluxe rooms

I stayed 3 nights at this hotel from August 31 to September 2. As 3 of us arrived early morning into Helsinki on August 31, I did a standard room booking for Aug 30 so that we could shower & change prior to exploring the city then return to checkin into our deluxe rooms later in the afternoon. Advise after having seen both standard & deluxe rooms lake facing is to go for the latter. Its bigger offering much better views & thicker towels compared to the miserable thin ones found in standard rooms. Housekeeping needs improvement as the disposale stirrers were not replaced after I finished what was provided. Rooms are a tad old and could do with a refresh. Bathroom is fine although shower stall is surprisingly small leaving a small sized person like me no space to move around. This seems a common feature in many Finland hotels. Breakfast had a wide selection & staff were polite & helpful. Grounds were large offering good walking opportunities. Overall a satisfactory experience.

    • NIcest view in town, but lot of room for improvement

I stayed at the seaside rooms, which are part of the original building if I recall correct. The view from the room across the bay over to Espoo is stunning. Cannot beat that. The room itself was fine. Maybe bit outdated by now, especially the bathroom. The location is away from city center. It takes 20-30 minutes to downtown depending on your choice of transport. First day I had breakfast at the restaurant. It was OK, not memorable. Second day I slept bit late and tried to order room service breakfast at 11am. Was told it was not possible. Something about already putting things away? How difficult it can be to put together few pastries and cup of coffee? I would expect any Hilton to be able to do that. Apparently not.
