We stayed 3 nights in March 2019 and were very happy with our choice. From the moment we arrived, the hosts Bryce and Lindsay were so helpful and accommodating. This is a perfectly restored Queenslander home and we enjoyed looking at all the thoughtful architectural details. Breakfast on the veranda was just lovely. The Heal House made our stay in Brisbane special.

We found this place via Tripadvisor and it showed up to be a fantastic small hotell run by a very nice couple. Excellent room, very good service and breakfast, and a good location, outside the city center but easy to walk to the center or to the river ferries.

Bryce & Lindsey have created a luxurious and comfortable residence with incredible attention to detail. I would highly recommend staying at Heal House if youre visiting Brisbane (or if you live in Brisbane and fancy a mini break). Bryce & Lindsey are fantastic hosts and you are guaranteed to have an easy, enjoyable stay at their home.

Looking for an overnight stay as we were due to be at Brisbane Airport the following morning and found it was only 18 minutes drive away from Heal House. I don't think there is off street parking however Bryce (one of the hosts) reserved an off street park for us. The place is a circa1912 renovated queenslander, very nicely restored and obviously a lot of effort gone into its restoration. It was quiet, and had a homely feel about it which we loved particularly having grown up in Brisbane myself. Greeted on arrival by the Host (who lives downstairs) and had a quick tour. In the morning we were treated to both a continental and hot breakfast (included in the price) on our own private verandah and waited on by Bryce (one of the owners). The coffee was not great (expresso Pod machine) but then we are both coffee fanatics and are very fussy but that was my only complaint for the whole stay and i am not easily pleased. I would easily stay again without hesitation and the hosts Bryce and Lindsay (who cooked breakfast) were without fault and an absolute pleasure to meet.

We were welcomed by the hosts Bryce and Lindsay and led to our beautiful accommodations in this totally overhauled dwelling with the best of decor. The breakfast was over the top and they gave great advice for our next stops as well. The location is convenient to restaurants ( within walking distance...we didnt want dinner but walked to Gerties for a drink and to check out the locals. ) You wont find friendlier hosts or a better place to stay in the Brisbane area. Its actually in New Farm, which must be a suburb and why walking in area was so easy...cute town.
