Stayed for a single night. Quaint inn but honestly, overpriced for what you get. Decent clean room with two Queen beds. Only a single tiny desk top put your stuff on. No ice. No coffee maker in the room,. We both have CPAP machines and outlets were a problem. You really need to get on your hands and knees to find one near the bed that you can use. Parking ok, staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good.

This Inn is lovely. I picked it really simply because it was a reasonable price in the general area I needed to be in. I didnt expect much since it is in a town filled with chain outlet shopping. I expected a chain feeling hotel. Instead it was a charming small Inn with friendly staff, great food, nice large rooms. It is near the outlet shopping but feels much more special.

We stop here on our way home from vacations in Canada. The inn staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are interesting (good), spacious, and clean. Kids love the pool. Great location. Overall, nice place to exhale before heading back to work. Appreciate that it is a family-owned business.

    • Lovely old inn on beautifully maintained grounds

The inn is a beautiful old architecturally interesting series of of buildings with winding hallways, beautifully decorating with copies of Audubon and Loon bird prints . A small entrance way with a gift shop and a beautiful wood paneled public room and stairway with the main dining room behind it dominate the first floor upon entering the inn. The rooms have been updated, have air conditioning, fairly modern plumbing and very comfortable beds and were very clean. Afternoon teas are complimentary with an assortment of cheeses, teas, pastries and cookies and fruit. If one makes their own reservation directly at the inn, a $16.95 breakfast is included in the form of a breakfast buffet in the main dining room. This was disappointing as the steam table scrambled eggs were wet and runny, the bacon was not crisp and the service a bit desultory. I had to get up from the table to find a server to request tea twice. There was an assortment of muffins and tea breads, some were gluten free. Juice had to be requested. Fresh fruit was set out in bowls. Oatmeal, granola, beans, and not very good French toast were also available. There was a wide assortment available but quality was disappointing. The fact that one could request an omelet or eggs made to order, and who knows what else, was only learned of when another guest was overheard ordering the same. This fact should have been made public and available to all the guests. There were no waffles , pancakes, or toast on display. Frankly, the charge for the quality of the displayed, available food was overpriced. To add to the insult or lack of service encountered, a bill is brought to the table that clearly is marked "gratuity" to be charged to the room despite the fact that the room including breakfast has already been charged to one's credit card and billed upon making a reservation. Upon arrival, an imprint is taken of your card for incidentals. One wonders if a number of guests have skipped out without paying for this emphasis on advance charging procedures.
