    • Excellent based upon location and price and breakfast

I'm in Hermann on a regular basis and have been coming for years. I have been coming to Hermann for both business and pleasure. This last time was on pleasure. A friend and I were on a dual sport motorcycle trip around Missouri. This was a planned stop. I believe this is the best deal in town. The rooms are not fancy but your not coming to Hermann to sit in your room. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the location is fantastic. You can walk everywhere if staying here. At night they have a nice firepit to sit and talk. I very nice feature. Breakfast is set up in a unique fashion (you'll see when you get there) and is very tasty.

Because I travel for a living there are many things I take for granted where I stay. This place has all the comfort and all the amenities They give you the full assurance that life is good. After a long and arduous day and a brutal evening. I came back with thunder and lightning in a light rain and found a fire and marshmallows waiting to be roasted. After a few roasted marshmallows, the cares that infested the day and folded their tents like the Arabs and silently slipped away. I really like this place. A good room a great breakfast and a wonderful people, you can't go wrong

    • Oktoberfest weekend

      Reviewed 29 April 2019

We stayed overnight Friday and Saturday for one of the weekends in October. The entire town is bustling during these weekends, it is a fun time but very busy. Harbor house prices stay the same even on those weekends. The room is basic and honestly could use updating, I would for sure bring your own towels (I learned this trick from someone who stays here yearly). The bed is comfortable, there is a mini-fridge, they have a great fire pit for those evenings you want to sit around before going out, and it is within walking distance to everything. If you are wanting a place to stay where you are in the room hanging out and it is luxurious I would look elsewhere, if you are wanting to enjoy Hermann and use your room as a place to sleep only this fits the bill.

    • wife & I for a one night stay..

      Reviewed 15 April 2019

April 2019, one night stay only. easy to get to! just over the bridge if coming from the north. part of the parking lot is taken up by some benches and a fire place, getting thru the lot can be tight if more than one vehicle is moving thru. office hours are 3pm to 8pm. don't expect to check in early. we arrived at 1pm hoping, found no one around the office area --- we did not try to call anyone ahead of time or call after we arrived to see if someone would come down to the office; we had room #3, upstairs, facing south; nice covered porch for lounging but chairs were not the most comfortable; room size was nice. bathroom was from the '60s... small, tub shower; electric heater built into the wall. bed was comfortable. small fridge in the room. simple breakfast available 8 - 9:30am (then the doors are locked up again) juice, coffee, toast, sausage, home made ham, egg & cheese "cupcake"... all was pretty good. if you all you need is a place to lay your head, this place will do just fine. but at $165 for a single night, it's a pricey pillow.

    • Great Location in Hermann, MO

      Reviewed 18 March 2019

Great location, parking is an issue with larger SUV or truck. Needs more electrical outlets and less overload of existing ones in older buildings, needs general updating on rooms and grounds. Pricing advertised is misleading, during the week only, then it nearly doubles.
