    • Quirky and comfortable but disappointing food

      Reviewed 30 September 2019

Stopped here for lunch and we were very impressed with the set up here - the staff are very friendly and the quirky touches like the kids tables and toys, tea pot tree and the blankets for if it is a but chilly (not to mention the big wood burner) make it a very comfortable place. The only snag was the food - my friend had a lamb sausage roll and it was very dry and my Thai style chicken noodle patties were also dry and a bit tasteless. Hopefully this was just an unfortunate one-off and we will probably come back to try a cake next time.

The Blue Wren Cafe catered for a group of 8 of us on a three day course down in Dwellingup - and we were so well looked after! Delicious breakfasts in their cosy cafe each day were a highlight, as well as the fab cakes in our packed lunches. Lovely spot, and lovely staff!

    • Best in town. Top food, service, and prices!

This is clearly the best cafe in Dwellingup township. We went twice during our stay and both times the food was excellent and service was fast. All food was delicious and tasted like it was home made on the premises. Prices are great and significantly less than the overpriced local pub. I didnt try the coffee but theres often a queue for coffee out the door so I assume its great. Definitely check this out if youre passing through.

    • The Best

Such a great place to have a break on a winters day. It has inside and outside seating with a wood fire outside and inside. We had the best home made meat pie that will now go down as the best I have ever had. This place is very very busy on weekends but the staff are cool

On a crisp winter's day, we were pleased to see hearty homemade dishes on the menu. The food did not take long to arrive and portions were generous to say the least. My pea and ham soup was delicious and very filling. We would certainly call in again next time we visit this pretty little town in the forest.
