      Everything was honestly perfect. Not 1 complaint. Just the elevator was just a little slow to my liking. But everyone was so friendly and helpful. Restaurant food was amazing. My kids was happy that the pool was open till 10pm

      We had a good time except our room developed a bad smell at the end and we were leaving soon so I didnt feel like we needed to report it. The staff did not tell us about the hot breakfast upgrade at the beginning of our stay which was annoying especially as a Hilton honors member

      We booked a room for two for 3 nights. Although we made a reservation for a room with a king-size bed, we were given a room with twin beds. When I told the reception about this issue, they blamed the third-party website for not giving them the right information, and the only thing they suggested was for us to check out at 11am, leave our luggage to the valet and then check in again at 4PM, which seems like a lot of disturb just to get something you paid $200/night for. The general impression we get from this hotel is unprofessionalism. It took ages to check in on the first night, and the reception area was super noisy because of drunk people in the bar shouting hysterically and still getting served alcohol, instead of being asked to quiet down... The room itself (with its unexpected twin beds...) is not so bad, but the bathroom could definitely be cleaner.

      Not at all worth the money. I would gladly consider looking for another location to stay while out traveling the world. I wish that Hilton didnt have a monopoly on the island of Hilo. There is usually competition that

      We arrived on a Saturday evening. Right at the beginning Digital Key did not work, so I quickly stopped by the Front Desk to get situated. From the start, I was informed that the pull-out couch did not work. Oh well, things happen I figured, no big deal. As we got on our floor, there was a MASSIVE pile of dirty towels. It was so big, we had to walk around it and squeeze all of our suitcases through. Upon getting to the room, we were impressed with the size and the view of our 1 King Oceanfront Jr Suite - Wraparound Lanai; Top-tier room in the Hotel. As we learned through the night, AC did not work as it never turned off and kept running all night. Next morning we left to explore the island. We came back for a bit in the afternoon to see all hallways filled with mountains of dirty towels as well as trash. That day I also called the Front Desk to let them know that our AC did not work. I was told that the maintenance crew was not available and I get everything situated the next day - NEVER heard back. Keep in mind, this was the top-tier room and I have a Diamond status. At this point we decided to leave a day earlier and stay at a different hotel. I stopped by the Front Desk to ask for a Manager and to let them know that we are checking out a day earlier due to not being happy with the stay and that I would like a refund for the last night. Gentleman at the Front Desk told me that the Manager was busy. I asked him if itll be better for me to load up and come back little later and he said possibly. We loaded up, I stopped by again. He called the Manager - L. R. She was still assisting someone, but came up quickly to show him how to do an early check out. The most SHOCKING part was not only did she not ask me about anything, she didnt even look at me. After getting back from Hawaii, Ive noticed that we were never checked out early. Since then, I emailed the Manager twice and left a complaint through the Hilton App. I heard back right away from Hilton Corporate and they told me that they sent everything to the Hotel and I should be receiving communication within 3 days. So after I tried to talk to the Manager in person, 2 emails, and some sort of communication from Corporate, I still have not heard anything back 4 days later. I sent another email to Hilton Corporate and few hours later heard back from them saying that according to the Hotel, my refund has been issued at check out. Even after all of this, I still never heard from the actual Hotel. Not only that, but no one has asked me about the stay. To sum up our stay - Hotel was filled with trash and dirty towels. Pull-out couch and AC did not work. Maintenance crew was non-existent, same as Hotel Leadership. One thing I will say is wrap around Lanai with the view was absolutely amazing. In theory this would be a perfect room for a family as it is very spacious and has fantastic view and Lanai. It is big enough for a Crib/Pack-and-Play. Breakfast did not include hot items, but had a good variety of fruits and pastries. We did book with points, so all fees, including Valet Parking, were free of charge, which was great.
