    • Horrible 1st day

      Reviewed 08 February 2021

We arrived yesterday for our honeymoon 3 night stay to a dirty room, there were crumbs on the counter and it had not been wipped down, 2nd the bath had hair in the sink and on the tub. The tub also had really bad rust in it and on the handle which is not accetable for a high end hotel. Third there was hair on the pillows. These are all things that i would not and did not expected at a highend hotel. We were moved to a second room were we encountered what appeared to be dry blood on the sheets(see pics below), a broken leg on the counter and Fridge that smelled like fish and made the room smell. The front desk offered to move us once again but we were too tired to move again. We waited an hour for some one to come change the sheets. I sent an email on Feb 2nd to concierge to request early check in and request wine in our room upon arrival for our honeymoon and no one ever got back to us. We are on our honeymoon and this experince was not a great one for us. The front desk offered us late check out but we fly out at 2pm so late check out does nothing for us. Not happy with our experince and we are still here for 2 more night. Something more needs to be done.

    • Terrible weekend

      Reviewed 31 January 2021

This hotel has tons of potential, yet, due to its poor customer service and ill trained staff, they will run this into the ground. The rooms are small but not terribly small. They do not explain the resort fees upon check in, $34 for zero resort amenities. The pool, one could say the main attraction, closes at sunset. Which means you may not even be able to go swimming in a short stay! You will be asked to leave if you have a family and are walking around. They are NOT family friendly. They mistreat families. DO NOT stay here as a family. I will go so far as to say that they mistreat JEWS in particular, which was weird as about 90% of their business the weekend we stayed there was Jewish business. They are tremendously understaffed during covid and despite paying 5 star prices, go into this expecting 2 star experience. I would not stay here again!

So the rooms are a nice size, quiet location, and price is reasonable. My issue is breakfast sucks, rooms are dusty, for some reason wash clothes are not provided and must be requested (each day). Also, we left money in room (forgot to grab it) when we returned cleaning service took it and still didnt leave washclothes. We did not report it because who would admit it! It wasnt a lot but it was taken. So I would stay again if I couldnt find a better place with resturant.

    • 5 star prices - 1.5 star service

My husband and I decided to splurge and spend way more than we would normally spend as it was our Anniversary. The room was dirty, the patio overlooking ocean was messy, the pools were literally disgusting. One hot tub was brown and the one pool that was a little warmer was murky, you could not see your legs if you were swimming. Needed sheets brought up and waited for over an hour, while 3 different phone calls to housekeeping, we were assured that someone was on their way up. 1 elevator was not working, and it was actually quite difficult to get in an elevator going down as each time it was completely full (the signs for 4 people max "due to covid" could not be followed if you wanted to ever get off your floor) Positives- the valet crew was great! Probably helped that we tipped them. Our waiter for breakfast in the little cafe was great. The bed was comfortable, and the view was pretty. The lobby was clean. Overall just very disappointed in what we spent and what we received.

    • Worst hotel Ive ever stayed at

      Reviewed 22 January 2021

From the second we accidentally booked this hotel it has been the WORST experience of my life. I go on 30+ vacations a year and this one is the worst I have ever been on. I would NEVER stay at this hotel again. While looking into booking this hotel my 3 month son accidentally pressed confirm. I immediately confirmed and asked them to cancel it. They said they would pass the message along to the hotel GM, they never called me. I called 5 more times to never receive a call back to cancel. The next day we found it $300 cheaper on Expedia. Lovely. Upon arrival they did not tell us anything about the property. No bellman helped up to our room, they didnt even direct us to the elevator. Once in the room we were disgusted. There were no wine glasses. The mini bar was full of opened bottles half drank. The bathrooms had only 1-2 towels for a place sleeping 6-8 people. The cushions on the sofas had hairs on them! DISGUSTING!!!! The windows here have never been cleaned and you can barely see out of them. The phones in the room are from 1980 and half of them dont work. The next morning room service came by, they asked me for the trash bags. WHAT!!!! I dont even empty trash bags at my house. They refused to cleaned out room and service it. We went down to the adult pool and there were kids all over!!! It took 1 hour for them to kick the kids out. No towels were available at the pool. The bar wasnt even open. I asked the concierge and they said it wouldnt open today, but it opened 30 minutes later. No one knows what is going on here. Later that afternoon we got off the elevator all drinking our drinks to be yelled at about masks - while drinking. Ummm cant wear masks while drinking. I had to go downstairs to get nee keys because they wouldnt let us in and an Orthodox Jew didnt have a mask on and it was no big deal. But for a white girl it was the end of the world. I would NEVER EVER stay here again. The service is awful. They overcharge and the rooms are dirty. My shower is missing the faucet and the shower pressure is nonexistent. No cups in the room is just not ok. Not to mention the floor was so wet day one that my friend slipped on it and hurt her knee and they didnt have ice bags. They had to come to our rook and get our tiny bag from our ice holder and fill it with ice. It took 30 minutes and could barely cover 1/4 of her knee. No medical kit at a hotel, where am I staying! Dont ever stay here if you actually want to enjoy vacation.
