Overall great but not quite what we expected!

My husband and I went here for our honeymoon! We ended up staying in the presidential suite and had a great experience. Our butler, David, was EXCEPTIONAL. The restaurants for dinner were awesome. The resort was more "party-oriented" than we had originally expected when we booked. Had we stayed in the ocean-view room we had originally ended up in, we would have been disappointed because it was very loud overlooking the pool. However, the staff was incredible and once we upgraded our room we were IN LOVE with the resort. I think it will be even better once the renovations are completed.

ReviewedThe resort was under renovation, but the service from the staff was top notch! Also the entertainment at the pool was amazing-the best I have seen! Reyes and Mauro from the Tequila bar were awesome! The resort was pretty empty due to half the resort under construction but cant wait to see it again when completed.

The resort is beautiful despite the ongoing renovations. The wait staff (especially Julia Barragn Petronilo @ Spice) is amazing, friendly and very attentive to every detail. The entertainment team is fun, talented and always high energy. The nightly entertainment was top notch. Housekeeping kept the room immaculately clean with lots of personal touches. The bartenders are quick and made some amazing frozen drinks. The hotel and staff exceeded our expectations. It was a very memorable vacation.
