  • Experience World-class Service at Grajski Dvor

We have simple, homely and traditional hotel rooms and a fine restaurant in one of the most beautiful areas in Slovenia, full of culture, history, nature and sport. Our picturesque town, at the bottom of the Julian Alps and the Karavanke range, is in a sunny location with clean, dry air which makes us happy and proud. The welcoming quaintness of this area is matched by the long-established hospitality of our hotel. The rustic bare stone and dark wood décor in our cosy restaurant and bar will keep you warm inside out. Here, or out on the terrace, you can savour local cuisine and enjoy a fine beverage from our extensive wine cellar. Within the area are museums, galleries, theatres and historical monuments, not to mention the natural surroundings. Just ask at our 24-hour front desk for information on attractions, hiking paths and more.

    • Disaster!

This hotel is a disaster! Old, half-broken rooms which are for sure not cleaned. Beds are so small and the bedding stinks and it is for sure not clean. For you is better to sleep in the tent in front of hotel than in the hotel! Never again!

Not all that nice a place to stay. The WiFi is intermittent at best, as is the hot water. The walls and doors are thin so it's noisy and the beds aren't comfortable. The decor makes it seem like a very tired looking hotel.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. The first day we came it all was ok. The 24/7 reception servise was also ok. But.. We also had breakfast for 6 per person and it was very poor. There was no fruit, cheap salty cheese, not very tasty ham. Another problem I find is with cleaning servise. After the first night our room was cleaned up just a bit. The bed was left as we left it (we tried to made it but just a bit). After second night our three rooms weren't cleaned at all. Beds weren't made proparly again, some of them at all and they took our stuff off the bed and gave it at the desk - i wouldnt say anything if the bed was made properly but they were made as some 6yo kid made them. I think when I pay for accommodation I dont have to take care of cleaning my bedroom.

    • Back to the 70's... and that is not a compliment

Everything is old en (half-)broken. The sign at the entrance says 3 stars, but one is more than enough. Short en very soft beds, black stains in the shower, the rooms were surely not clean. The toilet was not usable (plumbing problems?). Little 20" tv (incl. 82 snow-channels). no WIFI. Everything screams for renovation. Never again. Surely not for 66...
