I stayed there for one night and the hotel was very clean and very relaxed. The people are nice and helpful, and they helped me when my TV was not working, nothing was to much trouble. I would stay there again if I come back to the Glasgow area.

Have stayed in a good few hotels in Paisley living away from the town I watch the local football team. The Gleniffer Hotel will from now on be my port of call in Paisley. The staff are trained to a high standard always with a genuine smile. The hotel looks fresh and clean. My room was spot on again fresh, high standard for the price. Brilliant walk in shower. Next time I must try the bar if it's run like the hotel it must be worth a visit. Well done Gleniffer keep up the good work.

    • Engagement Party

      1.0
      Reviewed 04 February 2019

Attended this venue for a family engagement party, only three members of staff on duty. The 'manager' was the rudest person I have ever come across in the hospitality industry. At one point he marched across the room to the dance floor where the young engaged couple were and announced they would have to follow him to discuss the payment for the DJ. The couple were completely embarrassed by his actions particularly when the full amount for the hire of the function room and the DJ had been paid in full in November and this had also been confirmed in a telephone call three weeks prior to the party taking place. He insisted in looking through various, 'diaries' to find their booking which he eventually came across, the entries were handwritten and had been ticked off and it appeared had been crossed out at a later date. This took place in the reception area during the arrival of guests, again an embarrasing situation for the young couple. Later the same person was clearing tables which were beginning to overflow and two of the guests, trying to help, picked up empty cans to pass to him and were completely ignored and he stormed away leaving the table still overflowing. The ladies toilets consisted of two cubicles, the decor and cleanliness left a lot to be desired. The other two members of staff on duty were excellent, friendly and carried out their duties with a smile, surprising when their manager was so rude and unprofessional. If this gentleman is the public face of this establishment then I and the rest of the family will not be using this hotel again. Lesson for other users, keep your receipt if given one, available at all times.

We went here for Christmas day dinner. It was a great value for money meal. 2 starters prawn cocktail or lentil soup. We had the soup which was tasty. Next beef, turkey of veggie. You went up as called by table to select what you wanted 1 turkey and 1 veggie for us tasty again and lastly we had Christmas pud, ice cream or profiteroles. We had the profiteroles then coffee and mints. Drinks were from the bar and subtle Christmas music was playing. Great time and great service.
