I really couldn't think of a good title that would fit this place without making it sound terrible. The food was decent and the service was good what I found interesting is that all their sandwiches come with soup, and if you want you can upgrade to fries. You pay for the soup even if you don't want it. The chicken bacon ranch has pieces of what I believe to be deep fried chicken which I think is from their left over chicken.

My wife and I stopped here for breakfast last weekend while on a road trip. It was our first visit and we were unfamiliar with the area. We were greeted by a young woman who directed us to "Sit anywhere you want." A short time later, she quickly brought coffee and ice water. The food was very good and the service exceptional. The portions were large and the prices very fair. The restaurant did not have "egg beaters" if that is of interest. But, we will definitely return when we are in that area.

Came for a Sunday lunch. Nobody seemed particularly happy to be there, and service was ok. Decent menu, and breakfast served all day. We both had omelettes, which came with the usual sides. The omelettes were uninspired, even using American sandwich cheese, which was surprising since its in the heart of dairyland, with a large dairy practically a stones throw away. Overall, Thorpedo did the stick, and we left full, but it was nothing special.

When traveling across WI and MN I'm always looking for Walleye which I can't get where I live. Stopped here while crossing the state and ordered the fried walleye. Generous portion and cooked right: flaky on the inside. Also, when's the last time they brought you home made blue cheese dressing in the pour bottle to put on your salad! And the salad wasn't just a "side salad" it was a generous bowl full.

We have stopped at this same location a number of time in the past on our trips to Rice Lake Wisconsin The food was OK, but the Amish waitresses were not there anymore (possibly new management has taken over the place).
