    • Most amazing view of the city!

      Reviewed 04 September 2019

Was stuck at LaGuardia due to bad weather and chose to stay at the Sheraton Four Points. Only a 15 minute ride, ~$15 cab ride. Let me tell you every bit of the experience was amazing. Very helpful front desk staff, clean, nicely appointed room and great restaurant. The linens on my bed were high quality and the pillows and mattress were like sleeping on clouds. Best sleep I've had in ages. The absolute most amazing part of this location is the rooftop bar. It has what I consider one of the most amazing views of the city. I could have sat there all night drinking beer looking at that view.

    • Nice clean hotel

Looks like a fairly new property, small but nicely furnished rooms and a good little restaurant downstairs. The rooftop lounge is the highlight for this hotel, it's a great place to end your evening relaxing with a drink and enjoying the view of Manhattan across the East River. Good value, nice place to stay.

    • Horrible customer service and dirty rooms!

The only reason I gave this hell hole a one star is because of location and it's closeness to subways. However do not stay here the rooms are disgusting and the customer service is beyond unacceptable. I check into room 1008 with a mildew filled a/c, stained sheets; bathroom shower was mildew and rusted. Lastly there with old urine left in the cabinet next to tv. A friend mistakenly stuck his finger in the urine. Stay away at all cost no matter the cost. Superviosr or manager Orlando need to learn customer service skills he is horrible at customer service. This staff disrespect customers as if we are not spending money to stay. The only welcoming person was the maintenance man he was very respectful and caring. The only thing the hotel staff did to accommodate me was change the linen on the bed and had maintenance clean a/c while I was in the room, particles flying everywhere. This was beyond unacceptable and it's makes Marriott look ridiculous

    • Frustrated...

      Reviewed 03 August 2019

Let me start off by saying the property is beautiful they have a rooftop, little restaurant area and a terrace which is pretty cool. However, the staff is what ruined it for me. I saw that had charged me ahead of time being that I had a special rate, which was fine. Being that they charged me already I decided to check-in using the bonvoy app. I call the hotel to add a guest's name to my reservation which turned in to a problem. They informed me that my guest would have to swipe their card upon entering the hotel, but they had already charged me for the room. I offered to fill out a credit card authorization form and they told me they couldn't do that either my guest would have to wait until I arrived. Upon entering the room the main light did not work and there were no wash cloths in the room. Being that I was already frustrated by the first encounter it just add fuel to the flame. Especially because they charge $100 for incidentals because they are a "boutique" hotel. What made matters even worst was some entered our room at 10:21 am. They did not knock before entering they used their key and opened the door. At 11:20 am the front desk called to "remind us that check out is at 12:00 pm. I have stayed at plenty Marriott's and I have never received a call at 11:20 am to remind me that check out is at 12:00 pm. So I asked if I could have a later checkout and they agent paused and said, "no unfortunately we are fully committed tonight and we have a large group coming in" I know what that means. I find hilarious because I just booked another night on the Marriott website for the same property.

    • Unexpected experience. Full ignorance of any norms

      Reviewed 03 August 2019

Checked in with a friend, one of us is Gold and other is Platinum and what? No recognition at all. Smallest room, no welcome, plastic cups (environment friendly, yeah). Shower is leaking into the bathroom. The room doesn't even have slippers which is a standard for even a lower-cost Marriott chain hotels. The front desk staff is non-professional, they double charged the deposit even though they were holding in their arms the check with "Approved" status. That's just a fraud, which we'll of course report to the bank for the official investigation. Every night, a worker comes to a guest (!) floor to collect ice from ice machine in a 19 L bottle for the bar, with a deafening noise. There's no security at the hotel. Absolutely. Random herds of local are going through the hotel to the roof terrace, drinking and shouting all the night. Craziest place.
