    • why make a reservation?

      Reviewed 08 August 2019

i stayed at this hotel regularly and usually get in town late and/or work late. The hotel now is overbooking so they call and tell you they dont have room and want to put you at a lesser budget property. (la quinta) Hotel isnt really that nice. They just barely remodeled a closed Clarion that was condemned for mold issues due to roof leaks. Not worth ever going back when trust is broken. Goodbye.

    • Worst staff and customer experience

      Reviewed 20 June 2019

I had made a reservation for a single night stay at the hotel on June 18,2019. Showed up at 10:30 pm after a full day at work to be told by Candice that due to a leak they had no rooms for me. Nope, no courtesy of informing me either via email or phone. Told to have a good night ! Extremely indifferent attitude by the front desk . This is despite me having stayed at the hotel twice before they did not have my contact information On the 2 prior instances the air conditioning was sooo loud that i had to ask for room changes. Not to mention the awful breakfast. Book at your own risk since there is no customer service concept here.

    • Good for Bentonville - In dire need of a renovation

      Reviewed 04 June 2019

This hotel is is dire need of a renovation. It is so old. The rooms smell a little funny and are quite tired, from the bed, to the popcorn ceiling, to the really old bathrooms. It's fine from a comfort perspective, but just old, tired, and dark. The staff is great. The night manager is very helpful and personable. In the morning the nicest guy is always at the front desk wishing you a great day and ensuring you have everything you need. And the breakfast ladies are some of the nicest people in the world. They make sure you're happy, they do their best, and the Platinum free breakfast is a good deal for a free breakfast. There are also breakfast issues. Hardly has breakfast ever taken me less than 20 minutes...the hotel is severely understaffed causing breakfast to be extremely slow. The ladies are always apologetic, but there's not enough people working, especially when an event is going on. I love the breakfast, but I can't handle the wait. Once it took an hour for breakfast. The bar has the same issues. You never know who's staffing the bar. Some days you get fast quick service, other days folks don't seem to know what is behind the can this happen? I like this hotel's location, it's close to Walmart HQ, it's close to restaurants, it's close to what you need. However, it's hard to justify staying at this hotel when the Aloft has better rooms and is more consistent.

    • Perhaps the worst chain hotel I have ever stayed in in 60 years

      Reviewed 04 June 2019

Hotel built 35-40 years ago. If still alive the architect should have his license revoked, I checked into my room at 2 pm and it was pitch dark. When I opened the drapes the room got a little light from the dismal concrete lobby. I turned on three lamps and the TV and got a little more light. Of course the window was sealed without ventilation. That night I pulled back the drapes without thinking and found myself stark naked looking at the Bar 60 feet away. I am way past my Chippendale days. It was pretty funny. The atrium is concrete and 150 feet long by three stories. Half of the rooms must be like mine. The other half stare out at the Bleak landscape of another hotel. I booked through never again. I was traveling alone for a diner meeting. said the only room was a 2 room suite for $350. Two or three days later they informed me that the hotel agreed to my unmade request that three more people could stay with me. I called the hotel directly and requested a downgrade to a single room. When I checked in the young woman behind the desk confirmed that I had a single. She had a screen that I could not see and asked me to sign a checkin pad on my side of the counter. I signed only to discover at 4 am on my laptop that I had paid for the suite and got a single. Efforts to sort this out with the manager led to promises that it would be sorted out. He was cordially incompetent and nothing happened. Life goes on. Avoid Four Points.

I booked a room online and was given a King size room but I have my kids with me so I when I checked in I asked if I could have a double room the lady at the front desk said it was no problem. I when inside the room and was blown away on how nice the room look. Lay down on the bed and felt comfortable, Next I went to the swimming pool and my kids love it so that was a plus. I asked the front desk lady if I could used the pool for my granddaughter's birthday and she allow us to used it then we wanted to sit outside using the pit and was also allowed to used it. I love this hotel and will go back and used it.
