      Dank wet smell in the room n carpet. Shower head was a dribble. Shower sucked. I put my sister n nieces up here because their electricity was out in Va Beach. This Marriott is not maintained. For my sister & her 2 girls was better than no electricity @ their home in Va Beach. This property was a conversion Franchise & it shows.

      My husband and I stayed here for one night. We arrived about 7PM and they only had one room for us to choose from. When I walked across the room in my bare feet I realized the carpet was soaked with icy water leaking out of the refrigerator. I went to the front desk to request a different room and they said that, although they had 2 more parties to check in, they would not move us. The desk clerk called the maintenance man but he would not come back to the property that night. We tried to unplug and remove the refrigerator but that was impossible so we received towels to place over the spreading wet spot. The evening desk clerk assured me that she would leave a note for the manager. The next morning I asked if the manager had received my note and the desk clerk didn't know anything about it so she wrote a note. I left my phone number expecting a call from the manager that morning. It is now 7 days later and I have left 9 messages. NOT happy. Hotel was rundown but the total lack of customer service was even worse. *Book elsewhere!

      Me And A Group Of Freinds Were Trying To Decide Where To Stay At For A Local Car Meet In Virginia Beach . We Came Upon The Hotel That Had A Vary Reasonable Price And The Room Accommodation We Wanted We Chose The 2 Bed Option Because There Was A Good Amount Of Us Staying In The Room . Went To The Car Show T Night Came Back And Had A Great Time Would Definitely Choose This Place Again And One Of The Other Best Parts Is That Its Near A Great Variety Of Places And Are Friend That Had A Separate Room From Us Was Right Down The Hall From Us Great Times

      Horrible staff, very discriminatory(especially the night employee/supervisor Lisa). Reserved 2 rooms with 7 people total(6 were children). This hotel is definitely not kid friendly. Doors slam shut all night long, including the pool door. Breakfast was disgusting and undercooked. TV wasn't functioning properly, couldn't get any assistance from staff. One staff member working the entire hotel after 5pm so there's never anyone at the front desk for assistance. By far the worst experience I've ever had at a Marriott hotel. Will stick with Residence Inn and Springhill Suites.

      I requested a very throughly clean room due to the fact; that we are very allergic. Arrived at 2am to the room after a loudsy check in, immediately I saw hairs in different areas; disgusting & cleanliness. Maintenance: dirty unkept walls next to the bed Rm 318 8/23/18 to be exact. Desk Clerk with an unwillingness of not assisting Attitude. A smile its free & welcoming with a warm welcome its priceless. The rooms are not affordable for the room they give you. On the reservation I was very explicit to get a clean room n clean bed, n this is what Fairfield Inn by Marriott provided for the price. Finally, my teenage daughter never complains, however, this time she said the scramble egg during breakfast had a powder taste. I did bring this issues to the front desk n all she was handing to me was a business card for me to contact the manager; on a Friday and no Manager on duty during check out; thats the reason for the hotel having poor condition if no manager is on site..
