When we first checked in EVERYTHING & EVERYONE (front office staff) was beyond great. Then as I started noticing I was one of the VERY FEW pet owners that picked up after their dogs and the dog feces wasn't getting cleaned up which made it impossible at one point for me to walk my dog without having to clean dog feces of my shoes and her paws cause the grass was uncut and we would be surprised at times. I brought it to CARLA FERNANDEZ(manager) numerous times and then one guest whose room was inches away from a stairway walked their dog who had the runs the long way and their dog pooped in front of our window and never came back to clean it up. I went to the lobby and all I was met with from them was "Wow, that is disgusting" and asked if anyone would be by to clean it up and was told maintance was gone til Monday so I had to clean it because it started at our door entrance so I didn't want my dog getting it on her! Not two days later after I had enough of CARLA FERNANDEZ not doing a darn thing even though she knew what guest it was I emailed corporate did we get a letter saying we we almost $1700 behind in payments?!?!? I asked for a printout and after being there almost two months our rate went from $87.95 to $142.89 without notice. So, I let them take us to court (which was settled without us owing anything, nothing on our credit report and if we did why in the hell did we get our cash deposit back???) Also, it was court ordered to be sealed on August 1, 2019.... Still to this day our friends that our still guests there have had manager CARLA FERNANDEZ on speaker phone trying to tell ANYONE that will listen to her bad mouthing us and telling all that we left with a balance of almost $7000!!! I never made the pictures public but here they are...

Hotel is in a great location freeways are close and there is starbucks right behind the hotel as well as a 7-11 that is open 24 hours. Hotel management is very helpful. Its a good place if your going to stay longer than a few nights.

Stayed here more then anywhere else ONLY because it was referred to us by my husband company, and would stay again IF we had no other choice... Have to ask for kitchen equipment, no coffee in room (optional of course), no dish soap/sponge to wash dishes, microwave small, no stove... "Extended Stay" means almost move in, live in, right?!?! Well, they don't do housekeeping if you're staying multiple days unless you pay more... NO PETS ALLOWED!!! On the plus side, ONE staff member was very pleasant, 7/11 next door, Walmart, Costco, Carl's Jr down the street...

    • Poor value, not really suited for extended stays

      2.0

This place is advertised as a good place for extended stays. There are much better choices - Candlewood Suites in East Irvine/Lake Forest for example. Before you consider this 'extended stay' hotel over others, call up them on the local phone, and ask them - do you have a kitchen? Is it equipped with dishes, etc? Will all that stuff be there when I check-in? Does it have a dishwasher? What SIZE is the microwave? Is it a REAL SMALL microwave, only suited to pop popcorn, OR can I really put food in there? This Extended Stay in Irvine: 1. The kitchen is equipped with nothing. Cooking gear, utensils, dishes, cups, etc. are available at the front desk - you have to go get it. Maybe they deliver to your room? 2. There isn't even a coffee maker coffee cups in the room when you first get here. Again, have to go to the front desk to get EVERYTHING. Asked for a coffee maker, they COULD have thought to provide me a coffee mug/cups also. So here I am drinking my coffee out of one of those plastic drink cups from the bathroom, as the front desk/lobby isn't open yet. 3. No dishwasher. We could wash our dishes by hand (OK), and while they do have dish detergent in little single-sized containers, the front desk has no sponges/scrubby things to wash dishes with. 4. TV seems to be low definition. 5. Very slow internet. 6. Kitchen does have a full-size refrigerator, a 2 burner stove top, and a VERY SMALL microwave oven. Remember - if there is NO regular oven, you're relying on a microwave oven. And this microwave oven looks too small to cook regular food/pre-prepared frozen dinners in. I might be really picky about this, but imaging trying to heat up food and the plate not fitting in the microwave oven, and there is no regular oven. Aggravating. 7. Oddball things they could easily do weren't done - lights between the beds and alarm clock were not working because they were not plugged in. They were not plugged in because the bed was jammed up against the cords / plugs and they were forced sideways out of the outlets. The bed was jammed up against the electrical outlets because the beds are on wheels. No washcloths in the bathroom - yet another trip to the front desk - which by the way is only open from 7 AM to 11 PM. 8. Cabinets remind of of Ikea for some reason. 9. Reviews I saw on Google where there was a reply, the replies all came from 'management', suggesting the person who wrote the review to go to the front desk and take it up with them. IE hands-off and absentee management who doesn't seem to care when they get poor reviews, much less take action to resolve issue Bottom line - there are other places around which for about the same price are a much better value.

Human hair in bathroom and bedroom. No towels. No shampoo. No help. I prepaid through Priceline so I was stuck with 5 nights here. My employee called me in the middle of the night not feeling safe here. I was helpless as Priceline would not help and the hotel would not help. Ugh. Omg!!!!
