The Staff was amazing and very helpful. Room was good, when we stay again I will either ask for a room higher or on the valley side. It is right on the shuttle route to take you anywhere in the city. Great way to leave the car and get around. Very much enjoyed our stay, Thank you!

During our stay, the outside temperatures were in the mid to upper 80's. The hotel has no air conditioning and only provides you with room fans. Therefore, the room was barely usable during the day. While temperatures got down to the 50's at night, we didn't leave the widow open because of the very load noise of nearby I70. Therefore, the room was hot at night. The beds were very uncomfortable. Some of the staff were arrogant and rude; however, the "good ones" were exceptional. The proximity to Vail Village and Lionshead is excellent. The Indian restaurant on site is VERY good.

    • Rip off dog hotel

      Reviewed 20 July 2019

When considering where to stay in Vail the options are limited if you have a dog. However this hotel takes advantage of the customer. Instead of paying for a regular room, in order to have your dog with you you pay $65 more a night. Then they charge a pet fee on top of that. Next when you arrive at the hotel the rates are all different and the accounting for the stay was different than what I had been sent in the email as a total amount. They had already deducted the money from my account, much more than I had contracted to pay. In addition they put on hold a $57 incidental. The hotel is run down. It is very close to Vail Village which is very convenient. They did not advertise a breakfast and it was disconcerting to think that there was no food in the hotel in the morning. Yet they offered apples and oranges and some danish and Coffee in the morning which was a welcome surprise. It would be helpful at check in for someone to say that will be complementary coffee and danish and fruit in the morning. We scrambled around to try to find something to have in our room for breakfast when we went out late in the evening. The toilet had a problem flushing and was constantly running. I mentioned it at the front desk but no one attempted to fix it. They charge a $25 resort fee A night. This makes bringing your dog close to 100 a night. The resort includes an outdoor pool or hot tub and really is not a resort. We were up very early and there was no hot water. Later in the morning there was hot water available. We have paid a third as much at very nice locations for similar quality. Bit of a disappointment. The people at the front desk were very helpful and showed me where is the original billing mistakes that have been emailed to me as a confirmation of the mouth that I was going to pay were made by their department. They made some adjustments but I ended up paying more than I should have. If youre coming to the area I would investigate nearby places to stay if you have a dog rather than staying at Vail.

    • Great pet-friendly lodge

      Reviewed 12 July 2019

We liked the location, the superb pet-friendliness, and the Annapurna very much. In room #118, we had lots of neighboring dogs, but the noise that passed through our door was a negative. There were noticeable gaps at the bottom and side of the door. The bed was just ok. We also liked the pool, with the stream and trees so close, and the patio. Overall, would probably stay again if our dog(s) came with us. With a better door and mattress, would be 5 stars.
