When trying to decide on a location on Zakynthos I seemed to go in circles until I contacted Emerald Suites and Villas. From the first point of contact via email until the last smiles at our goodbyes, we could not have asked for anything better! What an amazing holiday on Zakynthos. We stayed in the new Cave Suites and they are absolutely beautiful and so very peaceful. The best suite possible with pool, fountain, sun bed, shower, tvs and anything else you might need or want. You will not need or want to leave your villa but please don't miss Shipwreck Beach and Blue Caves. The entire staff is amazing and totally at your disposable. They arranged our airport transfer with the kindest man who lived near. They got fresh fruits and yogurt for our breakfasts. The best watermelon ever. They arranged our excursion with Theodosis Cruises and Captain Dimitris and his wife are wonderful. Afterwards, don't miss Tarenva Porto which is his family for lunch, view, and the best cheese pies. His grandfather has Orizodes lovely restaurant which is worth a visit but we chose to have dinner delivered from there so we could enjoy our cave suite and pool and terrace. Portions were huge so we had enough for multiple nights and replenished with additional soups! Our kind taxi driver returned us to the airport but not before taking us to the Shipwreck Beach Overlook and to see the Old Olive tree in Exo Chora and onto Keri Lighthouse Restaurant to have a drink while viewing the amazing Keri Rocks. What a holiday all made special by all the wonderful people at Emerald and their connections. We are already planning a return with friends and we can stay nowhere but Emerald Suites and Villas.

Excellent facilities at the villa including bbq, super pool and the staff are very friendly and helpful - they arranged our food shopping for our arrival and the boat trip to Shipwreck Beach and Blue Caves. The villas all have a lovely sea view and are a short walk to some very nice restaurants

My husband and I visited beginning of September. As the Cave Suites were new we were a little apprehensive but WOW!!! The Cave Suite was sublime, spotless, attention to detail 100%.We needed a complete break and that is what we got, peace and tranquility.Aggilos the Reception Manager couldn't do enough for us & Lewis was amazing, nothing was too much trouble, even gave us a lift to a local restaurant and arranged for someone to bring us back. Advice..stop at a Supermarket on your way to the Suite, don't shop at the mini market at the port very expensive!! In the future a bar/restaurant built at the complex only for guests would I imagine be extremely beneficial to guests and staff but simply can not fault this place...simply stunning a complete getaway.A huge thank you to all the staff and huge congratulations to who ever designed the cave suites...spot on.We will be coming back and I can't wait

Agios Nikolaos is the port where one goes to catch the ferry to the blue caves and The famed Zantes shipwreck beach. We did nothing of the above. The Emerald villas are a true treat, and we only left our piece of paradise for the occasional swim at Mantrakia beach of for dinner in the nearby tavernas (see separate reviews). We stayed for three nights in a cave suite in the new complex up the hill. The villas were completed in June 2019, as such they were brand new, beautifully appointed and just delightful. Featuring a private infinity pool overlooking the sparkling Med below, the villa was at the same time beautiful and practical, including things such as an iron, a fully equipped kitchenette and a washing machine (should you need one). But what really set this place even further apart was the service. The staff, in particular Aggelos, looked after us incredibly well and with a sense of authenticity that is not quite easily found nowadays. If we could clone him customer service in the world would be much better! If you are coming to this area Emerald Villa is highly recommended. Here some practical tips/info: 1. The nearest taverna - which is lovely - is within walking distance (10-15 minutes, but it does include a rather steep walk uphill FYI) and the tourist port is 5 minutes drive away. 2. Unless you have your heart set on the caves or the shipwreck you can avoid the port proper completely (touristy)- check out the nearby Mantrakia beach and stunning taverna next to it. 3. You can get meals and provisions delivered to your room. The local supermarket is pricey and with limited choice, so if you can bring your booze and bubbles as you arrive its probably a better idea.
