    • Tranquil and beautiful

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights as we sought accommodation away from the city centre and we werent disappointed. The location is stunning, the staff were brilliant, the rooms and everything about this boutique hotel were brilliant. We arrived late on our 1st night yet they managed to accommodate us in the restaurant (Seats c20) and the food and wine was lovely with very pleasant service. Breakfast the next day was fantastic and very well laid out with lots of fresh produce and attentive staff asking if we wished for something cooked or warm drinks. It was a great start to a day of sight seeing. We chose to chill by the pool on our final day for a few hours in the morning given we had walked nearly 12 kms the day before and it was just so peaceful. The hotel is approx 15 minutes in a taxi from Florence centre but theres a frequent bus service that starts 1/2km down the road (and staff drop you there free of charge), the return journey stops opposite the entrance. Whenever we needed the staff they were brilliant and because we had an early departure (7:20am), they gave us breakfast in our room the night before or cereals, juice, biscuits etc. Would highly recommend if you are looking for something a little different that isnt loud or bold but calming and beautiful.

    • Amazing

Came here for mine and my twin sisters 30th birthday with our mam and niece. What a hotel!! Rooms are lovely, hotel is clean with amazing views! The staff however made this trip for us. Couldn't do enough for you. We ate breakfast lunch and had dinner a couple of nights, food was amazing! Try the margarita pizza on the lunch menu!! Easy to get a taxi from the centre of Florence to the hotel (about 20 euros). We also got the bus into Florence each day. One thing that wasn't mentioned however was that you must buy tickets for the busses before you get on - and validate these in the machine on the bus. The staff will drop you down at the bus stop and you can buy tickets from the shop there. Remember to buy your tickets for the way back too! The bus stop for the way back is right outside the hotel but it's hard to navigate where you need to get off especially when you are coming back of an evening and it's dark ( our bus driver wasn't particularly helpful with this - preferring to ignore us) None the less it was a fantastic hotel and a fantastic trip!! If you go into the centre of Florence please make sure you visit Mister Pizza which is right opposite the Dome. Best pizzas we had and a wonderful view of the Dome and the Cathedral.

    • Honeymoon

My husband and I stayed at the Eden for 4 days as part of our honeymoon. The hotel is lovely. We stayed in a junior suite which had a large balcony with beautiful, panoramic views. The hotel is on the outskirts of the city so you need to get a taxi or bus into Florence. The bus is super cheap and there is a stop right outside the hotel when returning. However, the stop into town is down the hill and is not walkable. This isn't a problem though as the hotel staff give you a lift down to it. We mostly ate out but on the night we had dinner it was nice and the breakfast was good. Clean room and helpful staff. Would definitely return. Florence is beautiful!

    • Such a good stay at Eden Rock Resort

We stayed here for a week while we were visiting Tuscany and what a stay! The hotel is around 5 miles outside Florence city centre up a hill and due to this the views overlooking Florence were incredible. We booked a panoramic suite with balcony which we'd highly recommend. The suite was big, it had a nice lounge area, kitchenette, bedroom, bathroom and the balcony. The staff were amazing and very welcoming, taking the bags up to the room after a long journey. The reception staff were amazing, we were welcomed by a guy with a ponytail who told us about Florence, excursions, bus timetables and more. All very helpful and much appreciated. We rented a car for a few days but had to get a bus a few times to get into Florence as it's easier than driving and we needed to pick up and drop off the car. The bus stop to Florence is about a mile down the winding, dangerous road so the hotel reception staff kindly drop you off there to get a ticket and board the bus. On the way back there is a stop right opposite the hotel. Please note later on in the evening the buses can be quite unreliable with some not turning up at all. The reception staff again were so helpful in advising where to park when we visited Sienna and other areas. We ate at the hotel a few nights and had breakfast here most days. The breakfast lady was really nice and welcoming and Dario our waiter in the evening was so friendly and happy to have a laugh. It would be nice to have the menu refresh at least once a week, as after a few days of eating here it doesn't give you much choice but only a minor thing. There were plenty of food options in Florence but not many within the immediate vicinity of the hotel. The pool was really nice, clean, tidy and a perfect size. There were enough sun loungers here for you to get one whenever you wanted with towels provided. If you had to rely on buses each day I can see the resort being a bit of a pain to due to the buses being unreliable, having to get a lift to the bus stop etc, so I'd definitely recommend a car to get around. It would be nice to have a shuttle option going between town and the hotel, but not essential. Overall highly recommended!

From the moment we pressed the button to gain access to the garage until the moment we left the garage, it was fabulous! We loved the receptionist, we loved the breakfast lady who was there throughout the day, we loved the dinner waiter and we loved the guy who helped us with our bags!! They were all just plain lovely! We loved the panoramic suite with its views - even from the loo - over the city including the Duomo! We loved the small intimate pool, dining and breakfast area. Hell, we loved everything!!!!!
