    • WAY Overpriced

      Reviewed 23 August 2019

When we checked in to the hotel, the gentleman was not very friendly. I tried asking a couple of questions and it seemed to bother him. When we got into our room I was less than pleased. The cover on the bed was stained and there was no iron and ironing board. It was clean though. For the price I paid, I could of gone down the street and stayed at a MUCH nicer hotel for a few dollars more with a lot more amenities. I don't recommend this hotel unless you have no other option.

    • Surprising

Second hotel of our stay. This hotel is in the middle of nowhere. Pulled up to a very plain looking building. Went to check in and thought oh no! Very small, very plain lobby which would be typical of an up north style place. I had concerns. Drove around back to a sixties style, 2 story motel type thing. Carried the bags up a flight of old canvass covered stairs and opened the door. Wow! Like two different worlds! New, modern, clean. Pleasant surprise. Bathroom was nice, beds were comfortable. Very impressed. Only complaint is the TV signal was a bit iffy. Freezing, cutting in and out. Would go back. Even told the front desk manager I was impressed. Just one restaurant nearby, but it was good

    • Pet friendly rooms in the rear.

      Reviewed 07 June 2019

Pet rooms are at the rear of the motel near the dumpster and dry fire surppression system. The motel is old but the room was fairly clean and some fixtures updated. Unfortunately, the fire surpression system was leaking which caused the compressor to come on after we had just fallen asleep and then again in the middle of the night. Each time it ran for about 1/2 hour keeping us awake during those times. The compressor room was behind our room. The night manager offered to move us but it was so late and we were already unpacked and settled for the night. He also acknowledged that the compressor was right behind our room and said that it had been worked on the previous week The dumpster which was across from our room was emptied around 5 a.m. Of course, it made a huge racket and woke us up again for the third time. When we checked out, we mentioned these issues to the owner/manager who denied that there was any problem with the compressor and said that our room was not near it. We were very disappointed with his denial and misrepresentation as he seemed to be struggling and trying hard to make a go of this property. He offered to waive the pet fee ($20.00) after we had paid even though we did not ask for anything. We did get notice of a $10 credit for one of the 2 pet fees. But a night's sleep is worth more than money. There were lots of vacancies. There was no need to put pet owners at the rear of the property in less desirable rooms. The price was the same as the "good" rooms PLUS the pet fees.

    • One night stay while passing through

      Reviewed 03 June 2019

Great no frills option if you just need a nights sleep and a shower. We stayed in 204. The room itself was pretty clean but not spotless, no hair or dirt on the bedding and no dirt on the floors and the fridge was clean which is the best you can hope for for this cheap. The vending machine was completely sold out but the ice machine worked and the continental breakfast offered muffins, bagels, English muffins along with toasters and a selection of butters and hams and also cream cheese which I found to be a bonus. Also orange juice, apple juice, coffee and hard boiled eggs. Definitely would stay again in the same situation but probably not for more than a night or two.

    • Nasty Bedding

      Reviewed 03 June 2019

We stayed overnight and when we went to bed, we discovered the comforter on the bed had something on it that appeared to be dried feces. We didn't want to disturb anyone, so we turned the comforter over and used it for cover.
