    • Expensive for little quality

This hotel is not worth the price! The location seemed ok although friends from Boston said it wasnt the best area. There was a Walgreens within walking distance. It was very plain; no refrigerator and no safe. Paying $53 to park overnight is pretty ridiculous. Doubt we stay there again.

    • Veronica is Amazing!

I called Veronica to get a bit of help with my seminar and overnight reservation. She is amazing! If my stay is even 1/2 as good as Veronica's customer service, it is going to be a wonderful day I love being a Diamond Hilton member, and employees like Veronica makes the extensive traveling with my job not only tolerable, but enjoyable.

    • Walking distance to Boston attractions and amazing restaurants

We didn't do a lot of research prior to coming to Boston and was hoping to get some ideas from the hotel. Our vacation started by welcoming staff at the front desk. Nancy Chen checked us in and recommended amazing restaurants for lunch and dinner. She was very knowledgable in where all the popular attractions are. This made our trip a lot more fun and stress-free!

    • Convenient but disappointing

We stayed here as part of a wedding and the wedding party had reserved a block of rooms here. The room itself was alright, very standard except we didnt realize that if you wanted a room with a mini-fridge you would have to request that beforehand. The main issue we experienced was that the air conditioning in our room was broken. When we got back from the wedding late at night we realized the air coming out of the vents was hot, so we called and they sent someone up to check it out. It wasnt something that could be fixed so they said they would have to look into what to do. They said they also had to get permission to give us cold water (which we finally got). The hotel was fully booked so they couldnt move us but they gave us a small room discount and free breakfast. They also brought a box fan to the room during the night but since the room got to 81 degrees the fan didnt make it much cooler. The next morning we found out that several of the people we knew also had rooms with no air conditioning (and all of us were on different floors). Hotel staff needs to service these rooms right away, having broken AC in an expensive hotel in a big city isnt acceptable. The previous night we stayed at the doubletree Bedford, just a few moments outside Boston, which was half the price and had many more amenities. The breakfast buffet for example had more than twice the options. The Boston doubletree breakfast had only eggs and bacon, toast, yogurt and cereal. Overall it was conveniently located for the wedding we had to attend but definitely wouldnt stay here again. Positives were that the hotel was clean, there is a Starbucks in the lobby, and the bed was very comfortable.

    • Good Location

We needed a reasonably priced hotel in Boston before a cruise. DoubleTree fit the bill. It was priced right and within walking distance of plenty of attractions. We were concerned about noise from the hospital next door, but our concerns were for nothing. We did not have a view, but we didn't need it as we spent our time walking around Boston. Breakfast was not included, but there is a restaurant on site as well as a Starbucks in the building. We walked to Panera a couple of blocks away.
