Rooms were dated, got a room with not much of a view. Grounds were beautiful and the BUFFET is not to be missed. $18.00 a day valet is ok. I would recommend this hotel. pool area is very nice but the landscaping makes this resort.

This resort excellent. Im surprised that the property doesnt take advantage of the guests with resort fees, parking fees etc, Im impressed that the property offers so Many activities (live music entertainment; smores; story time; crafts; lemonade) and doesnt charge extra fees. The property is pristine and the staff is pretty much lovely... there was some bizarre behavior with the bar but overall good. I wish that the property offered more vegan options.

Negatives (so I can end on positives): -Dirty linens on our bunk bed and king bed. Worse, the beds were neatly made. Suspicious and it skeeved us out. It also took hours and few phone calls to get corrected. -While the pool staff was very friendly, we and several other guests commented on how lax they were about cleaning up after others. It made it hard to know which seats were available, then beyond that it was just a little gross to sit for hours next to other folks' empty beer cans and leftover food. -The woman checking us out was not at all friendly, this left us with a bad last impression of the resort after a shaky first impression. (Bed linens and aggressive valets) -Food is super expensive on-property. Note: We found it odd that the same breakfast we had Saturday was $20 more on Sunday when it was "brunch". Positives! -The resort is very clean aside from the above. The decor and atmosphere are very welcoming. -The pool is terrific and they provide towels. -We enjoyed the arcade, the fitness center, and the DW Camp activities. Evening fire pit and s'mores was a highlight. The DW Camp staff is super friendly and enthusiastic. Kudos! -Meeting new people--great conversations at the pool or while rocking in chairs. Can't beat it if you're a people person like my husband and I are. -The shuttle to the theme park and the Time Saver passes for DM guests! -Food is decent on-property. -A manager did call us eventually to address some issues.

The hotel is in a picturesque setting. You wouldnt even know theres a theme park nearby. Its a top notch resort with a beautiful pool. Self parking is free and the wifi works well and is also free. There are a number of places to eat on site and a Burger King and subway across the street. Overall we really enjoyed our stay except for a couple things. The first odd thing was we were told by the poolside server that she couldnt serve us alcohol because our driver licenses were not American. She wanted our passports and told us that it is a Tennessee liquor law. We are from Canada and have had no issues at other restaurants at the resort, on the previous night at the pool with a different server, or at any other of the many restaurants on this trip through Memphis and Nashville using our drivers license. Also, we arent remotely close to being 21, 31 or even 41. We didnt bother going back to our rooms that evening but were quite annoyed at her. The other issue we had was that the theme park was closed down for half a day due to weather. They issued a rain check but we couldnt use it at the water park the next day. The theme park was closed the next day (as they alternate days with the water park once summer is over) and since we were only staying 2 nights, we couldnt use the rain check.

We spent 4 nights at DreamMore and it was truly perfect. Our son, daughter-in-law and their 2 children had a king room with bunk beds for the kids and they loved it. We had a king room with sleeper, which gave us plenty of room. The rooms were immaculate - as was the entire resort. Cannot say enough good things about the staff - every single employee we saw smiled and greeted us and made us truly feel at home. There is nothing that has not been thought about at this resort - every little thing you can imagine has been thought about. The pool is awesome and our grandchildren spent hours having a ball ; the smores each night along with the story time is wonderful. The grounds are stunning - the butterfly garden is amazing. We appreciated the fast passes to the park and the shuttle which takes you to a special entrance is wonderful. This was our first trip to Dollywood and to the resort and we did not know what to expect, however, we were so impressed we cannot wait to return. Our son's family said it was better than Disney! When we first arrived, we felt so welcome and our visit was so relaxing and truly perfect. We will be back!!! Amazing.........
