    • Hotel was recommended by Paultons Park package. Very far and is based on the middle of nowhere and offers nothing else!

Hotel is in a remote area, has nothing to offer but a bread and a very simple boxed breakfast. Its recommend by Paultons Park but is really far from it! We went for a family trip and one of the days rained a lot and we were locked in the hotel with nothing to do! Kids were very bored. They rooms were ok, Beds were comfortable, housekeeper was very friendly and reception team tried to accommodated us well even with the mistake made by Paultons Park team on our booking. I would not recommend it for families at all. But hotel is good for travellers who are just passing by...

The hotel is just off the M3 at a service station and was easy to find. We stayed one night for easy access to Winchester. The hotel was clean and the staff polite. We had a family room which consisted of a double bed and 2 single beds. Despite the warm weather the room was cool. Although there are no dining facilities available there is a Burger King, M&S and Costa Coffee in the main service area. There is also a very small play area for the kids. All in all I would recommend.

    • Management wake up - stay in room 32 one night and go toilet!!

Our stay the 16th July in room 32 and 30 in Winchester. 2 of the 4 beds was nice, room 30 was okay. The beds in room 32 are worn out on one side its like a sloop, turn them around and upside down, then they last longer. MAIN PROBLEM Our door lock in room 32 was broken, not possible to lock. We noticed it on the way out, we had a taxi waiting. We told the female receptionist and she promised to secure and move our things to another room, so we left for a dinner in Winchester. When we got back it was a new receptionist, he dident know anything about it, the female receptionist had left without telling him anything!? Our door was still unlocked with all our things open to steal! The first receptionist had only reported the luck broken and left, she obvious did not care about our belongings at all. Computers and tablets cameras amongst others. BATHROOM in room 32 The tap in the shower was broken. The ventilation really dirty. The designer of the toilet in the bathroom can't possible not go toilet because it's almost impossible to sit and do what it's there for. The sink and toilet should change place so it works to sit without the toilet rolls in your stomach and I'm normal long and very slum. If you are big good luck!! Lock the door when you go toilet, if not and the other person open the door you have no feet left, this is dangerous! I would like to recommend Health and Safety to look at this. BEDROOM in room 32 1 of the 2 beds was nice in room 32 and 1 was worn out on one side its like a sloop, turn them around and upside down, then they last longer. The beds in room 30 was okay. So we are not very happy about our stay in room 32. Plus lack of respect from your staff concerning our belongings. If they promise a thing like that, it is very important to be able to trust what they say. We just dident have time to move things over from room 32 to 30 and she made us a promise!

Checking in was easy and the lady on reception was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and well kept. Only slight niggle was we could hear the corridor door opening and closing every time as out room was right next to it. Was also surprisingly quiet considering its close to the motorway. Overall a good night stay and would stay here again.
