Overpriced for an attraction that takes no more than 15-20 mins to complete. However, the owner of the business is very knowledgable and helpful.

We visited with our kids and they loved looking around the display and searching for the 'hidden' items. Great place to stop and lovely people.

As adults we found this re-creation of Hobart from the 1830's to be fascinating and with great attention to detail. It is now an aging attraction but well maintained and good for all ages. In particular the children will have fun looking for the four 'hidden models' e.g. a Tasmanian tiger. We found 3 of them, but the operator was extremely helpful in showing us the one that we missed, while at the same time giving us a bonus insight into how the models were made, where some still standing original buildings are sited, etc. A very helpful 'map' guide is provided explaining what each model represents, and there are unobtrusive signs around the Village as well with more history and information. In all, a pleasant and reasonably inexpensive 1-2 hours while visiting lovely Richmond.
