    • Outdated Hotel

My wife and I recently stayed here for three nights. Our first night was a catastrophe. We were put in four different rooms due to ac unit issues. When I checked in, being a gold elite member I asked about an upgrade. I was told no as all the suites were full with people having an extended stays. I checked online and there were several different suites available. I asked the same person who checked me in if it was possible to check on the upgrade as I see several suites available and showed her my phone. Her response surprised me, she said Im new here I dont know how upgrades work. I will need you to wait until the person who knows how they work comes back in 15 minutes. The lady thankfully returned sooner and upgraded the room no problem. The ac makes a humming noise, unsure why. I cant post the video on here but its loud. At night for whatever reason the ac turns off but if I discovered if I waved my hand in the air it turned back on. The rooms are outdated and badly need to be upgraded. We after several moves were put on the elite floor which I dont know why I wasnt put on this floor to begin with. The bathroom is super small and would scare anyone who is claustrophobic. You cant sit on the toilet and close the door, you physically have to walk into the bathroom stand to the side of the toilet to just close the door. The elevators are very slow. We did meet a manager on Saturday morning, she was kind enough to give me 5,000 points back but honestly this hotel isnt worth 25,000 points for a night, maybe 15,000 but 25,000 Im expecting a nicer hotel. On Sunday our last day I discovered a small fridge next to the ice machine that was suppose to be full of water bottles for elite members, unfortunately it was empty. It was clear to me at this point, elite members meant nothing to this hotel, between the issue on getting the upgrade and now seeing an empty fridge that wasnt even told to me upon check in. Yes, I understand upgrades are not guaranteed but to be told no suites were available when there were, then to be told Im new I dont know how upgrades work, it appeared to me you didnt want to do your job. I was so frustrated at the treatment I had gotten that I did a remote checkout. I dont usually do this as I like to thank the front desk for a nice stay. This was far from a nice stay and I was just thrilled to get out of this hotel. On my next trip to Annapolis, I will definitely be finding another Marriott hotel.

    • Needs some upkeep

We have Stayed at this hotel before about eight years ago. Needs a little special attention. A little dated in the lobby area. We are platinum members and were put on the elite third floor. The offerings as an elite member were cold water bottles in a cooler near the ice machine. It was never filled while we were there. The snack area near reception was always half empty. We stayed two nights when our room was cleaned there were no coffee cups replaced for the second day. The pool needed to be cleaned. There were pool towels on each lounge chair but no extras available. Our room was nice, comfortable bed, nice balcony. Pleasant staff. Good breakfast in the bistro. enjoyed the lobby area with grandkids

    • Relaxing Overnight.

Arrived late and pretty tired after seeing a concert in DC. A bit older hotel, so has a sprawling layout, but our room was very clean, bed cozy and comfortable. We didn't stay for breakfast, as we are on a budget this trip. Parked at an entrance near our room.

    • Gotcha!

When we reserved room, one site said breakfast in The Bistro - we thought breakfast was included. It is not included and other than paying for breakfast in the hotel, there was only one little cafe in a strip shopping mall nearby. Cant remember this happening before at a Courtyard. Also, total room charge including taxes was supposed to be $143 but $170 was charged. When asked, front desk said we always add a charge for incidentals - but if you dont have any extra charges, we will remove those charges in a few days!!! Room was very clean and staff was nice but disappointed with policies

    • Clean, comfortable and a good pool

We stayed one night with two adults and two young kiddos when we were in the area. The hotel pool was perfect for us! The staff was friendly and helpful, and very responsive when we needed extra towels. The lobby looks recently renovated and the room was clean and comfortable.
