    • Dont stay here

Our train was 4.5 hours late. We were very tired. We checked into our room on the 14th floor. Supposedly a deluxe room. They had no king beds so we took a 2 double bed room. There were dead bugs and under the lights and bugs flying around the room. There was yellow crap down the side of one bedskirt. We changed rooms to the 26th floor. It had a king bed they didnt have available. A Very unkept hotel. We tried to order pizza according to the menu in our room. No you cant order pizza. So why is there a menu for it in the room. Dont stay here.

Location is absolutely fine. My friend did find a socks of the previous guests in the room... A little minus point for cleanliness in the room. Breakfast seems to be like in a supermarket with a canteen atmosphere, however, breakfast quality is great and provides everything you need.

Stayed here for three nights in September 2019. Nice hotel, with clean, tidy rooms. Water pressure in shower was a bit wanting. Hotel was just a walking distance to most food outlets and stores. Only downside would be the construction noise that was going on down the street. The workers would start about 6am, banging and crashing. Nothing Chelsea can do about it, but it woke us up every morning. Staff were very friendly.

Staff at reception and concierge were excellent. Very disappointed in the market buffet breakfast. I paid $30.00 for cold scrambled eggs, paper thin bacon, cold hash browns and hardly any choice of bread for roasting! Disgraceful! Concerned about the complete lack of grab bars in the bath tub. While I dont need an accessible room, I certainly need to feel safe in the bathtub. If I had slipped, what would have prevented me from having a fall and sustaining a serious injury? The staff advised that the management philosophy is that if you are nervous about bathroom safety you should ask for an accessible room. Im not nervous, I dont believe I should take an accessible room from someone who definitely requires it due to a disability, and this should be basic safety for your guests. Finally, I understand that the hotel preauthoizes an amount from your credit card, but this should not be actually put through on the card. My room came to $400 but my card was automatically charged for $487 before I checked out, and it will take 4-5 business days to refund the additional amount that I did not incur. I have never had that happen in any other hotel I stayed at - I find that to be a poor business practice.

    • Grossest bathroom.

My dad and I stayed here two nights this past weekend. The hotel is absolutely massive and as such is not well taken care of. It really needs renovations especially the bathrooms. Our shower didnt work properly because of all the mould clogging its head, it kind of just spat water out in the wrong direction in one concentrated stream. See picture. Instead I had a bath to wash my hair and then noticed the toilet on the side was all rusty as well. Pretty grossed out. The beds had two pillows on each, one feather and paper thin and the other super firm and lumpy. It resulted in a pretty bad nights sleep. The towels were also super thin and clearly needed replacing. It wasnt worth what we paid at all.
