Every now and again, my wife and I play "tourist" in the Cape Town city centre (we live in the Northern Suburbs). With all the brilliant restaurants, its nice to go out and not have to worry about transport back home. The stay at the Cape Heritage was by far the best experience of all the hotels we have stayed at over the last couple of years. Everything was top notch. The amazing and helpful staff, the beautiful room and that decadent breakfast the next morning. As locals, we can really cannot recommend this hotel enough.

    • Amazing welcome to South Africa!

Kicked off a garden route trip with a 3 night stay at Cape Heritage and couldn't have been nicer start. Staff made us feel extremely welcome and provided us with great tips on local eateries, bars and getting around. The breakfast was faultless, the room spacious and elegant, and the hotels location perfectly centred for exploring the city.

    • Poor policy let the fantastic staff down

The best thing about this place is the staff. All staff are extremely attentive and friendly, offering advice daily on our plans and helping us with bags from and to the car. There is a good selection for breakfast which ranges from continental to fixed meals such as French Toast or Shakshuka. The rooms are very comfortable and are tended to daily by the cleaning staff. Location is very good proximity to many bars and restaurants and is based in the heart if Cape Town. Bit of a walk (30 mins) to the Waterfront but easily accessible by car/taxi. The main gripe I have with this place is the parking. This is the only place we stayed in SA which made us pay for our parking for the duration of our stay. We were asked to park in an unsecured car park adjacent to the hotel where they have specific parking bays and were charged 85 rand (circa 5) per day for parking. The hotel is also based in a complex which includes restaurants and a bar. Whilst this is a good asset, over the weekend the music was very loud and kept us awake until midnight, even with earplugs supplied by the hotel. Wifi connection was weak.

    • Once more a perfect stay!

    • Great hotel, Amazing staff!!

We really enjoyed our stay at Cape Heritage Hotel. They organised pick up from Cape Town airport, which was convenient and stress free. We were welcomed with such friendly smiles. The hotel location is good, walking distance to Greenmarket square and Bo Kaap. Its a short Uber ride to the waterfront, around 40 rand (4 Australian dollars!) and around 60 rand to Table Mountain cable car. Our hotel room was large and pleasant. Breakfast was also very nice, hot food is made to order. The cappuccino was very nice! The staff are truly the best part of the hotel, nothing is too difficult for them. Sam and TJ in particular were amazing. Thank you. Would definitely start again when in Cape Town.
