The hotel is terrible. The rooms are extremely small, noisy and dirty. The second day they did not clean the room, the toilet the shower, the bathroom smell really bad. Dont go to this place unless is your last and only option!! On the positive side, front desk girls were always ready to help!!

Husband and I booked some days in rhus for our holidays. Of course we knew beforehand that the CABINN hotel is a budget hotel but we didnt expect it to be this bad. We booked the penthouse type of room which is considered to be the most expensive and largest available in the top floor of the hotel. As we arrived we realized the room is super tiny, it barely had space for me and my husband to move around with our luggage. The toilet was basically like an airplane toilet with a shower! As my husband put it, this would be acceptable if we were living in a ship! Its now summer in Denmark and the heat was definitely on. The room didnt have windows that could be open, only the balcony door. The room had no air conditioning or event a fan so we had to leave the balcony door open all night. The problem was that the room has the view to the street with most of the restaurants and night life in Aarhus so since we had to leave it open, we had increasing loud noise during the whole night! We couldnt handle it and moved to another hotel for the next night. We were there to enjoy our holidays and theres no way we couldve done it like that! On the other hand, if I was traveling alone, for business or just using the hotel to sleep for one night - or if it wasnt summer!!! - there is a chance I could have made it. Its definitely not a good choice for summer holidays if you are more than one person. The hotel is very well located - walking distance from most attractions. We did have a great time in the city before returning to the hotel and realizing we couldnt really stay anymore.

This hotel is incredibly centrally located. However, while that is convenient it is also means that it is extremely noisy. This is a super basic hotel, it is clean, the breakfast is fine, and the room is small, "all you need to sleep". Our room was very hot, but if you opened the window, we were overlooking restaurants on Aboulevarden which on Saturday are open and hopping until 5am. I was in Aarhus in March and got booked in to this hotel, my colleague suggested to the person booking: "Wakeup is nicer". I stayed at Wakeup in March. Wakeup is nicer!

First challenge with this hotel is finding it especially if you come by car. When you find it finding a parking place is equally challenging. Rooms are clean but very small. Our room for 3 persons was so small that we had leave our suitcases in the car taking only necessities with us. Bathroom design was interesting. Shower water was literally flooding to the tiny living space. Location of the facility is very good though.

My room was economy class. If you arrived there by train in a sleeper car, you wish you stayed in that car instead of this room. High class room in Cabinn (Captains class) could be a better option, but the reason I will never visit this place again is: 1. In economy room, a very small window actually takes 30% of the room experience. I asked at reception in the morning for a window to be cleaned (because it wasnt cleaned for months, with seagull sh*t all over the glass), instead of yes sir, were sorry sir, I get why do you want your window cleaned?. After I explained and expect it cleaned until the evening, the window was intact, dirty as it was. And further days as well. 2. Towels smell, but certainly not of freshness. Same as toilet/bathroom. Luckily it wasnt cold outside so opened window helped a lot. 3. Breakfast is poor, low choice of low quality food. (Eggs, ham, cheese, bread.) Good luck with your business Cabinn. And goodbye.
