    • Koala's Welfare in Northern Rivers. We're Right Onto It!!!

      Reviewed 07 June 2019

Highly recommended for a visit & your $ support please! Informed, caring staff & this special, low key Friends of Koalas in Lismore. What an inspirational, dedicated and well trained "bunch of locals"...volunteers & staff. So proud of the work they do here in Lismore protecting the injured koalas, healing the sick ones and so generously providing for the others in their care with freshly gathered leaves ....daily....awesome! Makes me feel proud to be part of this Northern Rivers community.

    • Great chance to see A koala, thats not a zoo set up. Fantastic little place and clearly amazing volunteers.

I especially do not like money-making-zoos. So this was a great chance to see a koala close up. Theres a very informative talk about how they rescue and then help the animals. Plus a short tour of the small complex. Where can see the Koalas and there is no pressure to donate (even though i did). A lovely little charity, with great volunteers. Animals are well looked after and they will release if they can, but some are there, because they have no chance in the wild.

    • Amazing place to learn about koalas

We highly recommend this place to everyone who would like to learn about these little furry animals. Place is ran by lovely volunteers who are doing great job in trying to save koalas population in NSW. The lady who ran our tour shared with us a lot of interesting facts and information about koalas behaviour and type of work the volunteers are doing every day. Cant praise this place enough!! ;)

    • Support this brilliant cause!

      Reviewed 26 April 2019

We learnt so much about the risks to Koalas and what work is done here to help them. If you are visiting Australia and want to meet Koalas than this is far better than going for a cuddle. The passionate and dedicated staff here work to rescue and rehabilitate Koalas so they can go back to their natural homes. Go along and support Friends of the Koala!
