    • Charming and quiet

      Reviewed 31 August 2019

Stayed just one night but really enjoyed the stay. Room was small, but clean. No safe or fridge which has annoyed me at other places but so quiet and felt so secure that the safe wasnt an issue. Main reason for wanting a fridge was to have cold water in the night but hotel very happy to provide carafe of cold water for our water bottles so, again, became a non issue. Pool is large and clean with plenty of sun beds. Outside space is pleasant and bar service provided. Service throughout our stay friendly and cheerful. 10 minutes out of town by car (definitely not walking distance) but own restaurant is good.

    • Nice hotel, great restaurant, small room

I came to La Ferme at the highest point of the seadon when the festival of Avignon was at its highest point. The hotel is about 2.5 km from the city center which means you need a car, yet no parking in the city anywhere..a catch. The hotel has a nice pool and I met there a couple, a parisian doctor snd his wife who come there every year for the last 25 years for their vacance. Generaly a nice place try to get a bigger room. Food at the restaurant is very good. I had the fish meal

We recently finished a tour and wanted a couple of days to unwind and relax. We chose this hotel, and it could not have met our needs any better. We loved our air conditioned room, the large swimming pool, the friendly and hospitable service, and the wonderful meals we enjoyed. Dinner was especially good: We enjoyed a three course meal of crispy shrimp, roasted lamb, and fresh apricot tarte. Delicious!

On the surface this hotel appears very nice until you start using the facilities. The pool area wasnt particularly clean and all it needed was for someone to keep on top of cleaning and maintenance, an easy fix. The shower temperature kept fluctuating between hot and cold so needs investigating. We spotted ants on the bathroom floor in the evening so again needs looking at. We felt like an inconvenience when we ordered drinks at the bar and had to wait a while because the restaurant was busy. The breakfast was average, lacked choice and it took a while for items to be replenished if at all. It appears that the management of this hotel is very complacent, an approach you cant afford to take if you want people to return and fully enjoy their stay. Im glad we were only staying for one night.

Out in the sticks and very quiet and fine if you don't want to see Avignon or have a night out but it is lovely and charming. Good menu good food good wine list. Room was lovely. Didn't trouble the pool as owner said it was too cold. Fabulous restaurant with superb rustic fireplace.would stay here again in a heart beat but you do need a car. no lift
