This restaurant is very dirty. The bathrooms are disgusting, I can only imagine what the kitchen is like. There are lots of cleaner places to dine.

    • Love this place, been there many times

Plain and simple, this place has very good food and friendly service! Went here many times. Always enjoy the food. Last night's server was great - he was friendly and conversational. My friend got the shrimp in white wine sauce - smelled amazing to me and she said she enjoyed it very much. I had the Jalisco combo. I got a beef enchilada and a chicken chimichanga. Comes with salad, refried beans and rice. All of it was DELICIOUS. I couldn't finish it all. You get tortilla chips and salsa at your table when you sit down. The strawberry margarita was "ok". It's not bad, it's not stellar either. All in all, love this place. Will keep coming back, the food is GREAT!

    • Honest review No go!!

In my honest opinion after reading many reviews on tripadvisor I must agree with past patrons who attended this restaurant and gave it a bad review were right! We were two couples out for dinner at 5:00 p.m. on a Friday night with plenty of tables. Very few tables were full about three tables. when we arrived. I must say we were greeted by the owner's son. He was pleasant but would listen to our conversation but would forget half of our order I asked for water but he gets a bit pushy so I ordered a mango margarita and my boyfirend ordered the lime. Was tasty and good. We never did get any water at all. While we were waiting for our meals we had chips and a very small bowl of tomato sauce, I agree with the past review back in 2010 that it came out of a can. Wow salsa was a very very small bowl. When we asked for another basket of chips and salsa he whispered there is an extra charge. We say that's ok bypass it and said it was ok he will give the basket of chips free but no salsa. When our meals came out it was served on burgundy dishes that I purchased from Costco back in the late 90's we were laughing so hard that we have the same dishes. Besides that I must say the food was nothing to write home about. Being at many restaurants in the past from Colorado and Mexico where there are Mexican restaurants at every corner this restaurant would not even touch it. . The enchilada were very greasy. The rice came out of the package Uncle Ben's rice. The waiter told us everything is premade and there is no exceptions at all. This place is over priced no way I would go back.On top of it they listen to your conversations and try to rush you quickly. We asked the older lady if she was Mexican she said no Cuban. They are Cuban and Mexican. I would say this restaurant is more Cuban than Mexican She was nice lady who spoke very little englsih. We asked for one of the entrees to have no sour cream on top of the enchilada nd they were so upset. So the entre came with the enchilada refried beans from a can, rice from a package just plain salad in the middle very small shredded just as the picture showed. All other condiments sour cream, guacamole etc is extra we opted out The ice cream was the only dish we can rave about it was huge and easily can be eaten by four people. I must say it was excellent. The chiroz were good but the waiter said it was premade and they just deep fry it. There were four good but small. I would choose the ice cream to share for sure. We went to pay at the counter which it was close to the entrance which it made it hard and crowded for us paying the bill and patrons entering to come into the restaurant. They were so confused what we ordered and which bill went to who. The bill was done more three times before it was right. Our bill came out to $65 two entrees two margarita and chiroz dessert with tip. Luckily for the desert we were full but honestly I would have been hungry.

    • Just average

We both love Mexican food, but this location was just average. It is larger than it looks from outside, but is very difficult to enter the parking lot. The only entrance is by eastbound Taunton Rd, and upon exit you must continue to go east. Had burrito's, one chicken and one chorizo. The chorizo was extremely mild with virtually no flavor. The guacamole appetizer was very good. There was only one server for the entire restaurant, and he appeared overtaxed and therefore the service was very slow. Two burrito's, guacamole, one beer and the bill was over $50.00. Not very good value! We actually prefer the burrito's at Mucho Burrito, and they were about 1/3 the cost. Try it and judge for yourself.
