    • Completely exceeded our expectations!!!

We stayed at the new appartment accommodations, located in the heart of Saint-Quentin. This room which actually includes a bedroom with king size bed/ en-suite bathroom, a kitchen and breakfast nook, sofa (sofa-bed) and living space and half bath, was clean, bright and newly renovated. The decor was so modern and beautiful! I wish I could bring their decorator with me to do my house! Upon arriving we noticed that the fridge and cupboards were fully stocked with everything we could possibly want for a complete hearty breakfast. The owner was so sweet and very quick to reply to all our questions via email/text, and she even swung by to wish us a good stay and see if we needed anything. There is a large veranda overlooking the main street with benches to sit on to enjoy the local scenery. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area and hope to return to stay at this location!

    • A nice surprise where one might not expect it!

My girlfriend and I stayed for a quick overnight stay this weekend. I had inquired about a late arrival as we were travelling on snowmobile and I would be getting a late start that day. I was told not to worry and that if she knew I was coming they'd be around. Here is my take on my stay. Pros: Many - Place felt secure, secluded and I chose to park my snowmobile in front of my window. If I understood correctly, a heated garage is available. - Clean, modern and chic room, with cuisinette and bathroom - Independent heat in room and bathroom meant we could sleep cool and shower warm! - In room Wi-fi and Satelite TV - Extra blanket and slippers for your comfort - Well stocked breakfast options in the room - Most important and this was a huge help to us (that no other hotel or even restaurant could accommodate on our entire trip) was she had a couple of gluten-free options for breakfast. Our best meal the entire trip was the breakfast we had here. Merci!! Cons: Minor - Pillows were a little thick for my tastes - Shower only no bath in our room We snuck out Sat morning with a wave goodbye hoping our hosts saw us or were cozied up as we had been during our stay. Merci pour votre accueil.

We chose this hotel because it was on our travel route. We didn't know what to expect, but it was a really delightful surprise to find such nice accommodations. It is 5 1/2 miles from town in a wooded area. It wasn't difficult to find because the innkeeper sent us detailed instructions of the route. The building we stayed in had three guest rooms. It looked like new construction. The room is well organized and equipped. There is a small "kitchen" area with a mini refrigerator and freezer, microwave, coffeemaker, toaster, bar sink, dishes, and food to prepare breakfast. We really liked the fix-your-own breakfast concept since we didn't have to set a time to eat breakfast. It was also nice to eat on our own and not feel like you had to talk to other folks. Sometimes that is nice, but other times it is nice to eat alone. There was a wide selection of breakfast food in the refrigerator and cabinet including coffee, eggs, ham, muffins, cereal, juice, milk, and bread. The bathroom was pretty large with a big sink and plenty of space for everything. There was even a magnifying make-up mirror. The bed was super comfortable and plush. The pillows were very nice. There were two tables in the room that provided plenty of space for eating and working. The wifi was strong and there was a fair size television. There was a ceiling fan over the bed. There were lots of extras like blankets, slippers, and hangers. Best of all, everything was attractively decorated. We also enjoyed watching the pet bunny hopping around outside our room. Louise had done a great job with this bed and breakfast.

A girlfriend and I decided to go to Mount Carleton for a weekend of snowshoeing and relaxation. When we arrived at the B&B, Louise greeted us outside with her warm smile and showed us upstairs to our room. We didnt really know what to expect so we were thrilled when we saw our room! It was beautifully decorated and she thought of all the little details that would make us feel comfortable - even had a personal welcome message on our door. The shared kitchen area is gorgeous and the fridge very well stocked with breakfast goodies. We saw Louise a few more times over the weekend and, by the time we left, it felt like wed known her for much longer! We will be back for sure!!!
