    • Sunset Cruise - relaxing one & half hours

Wide river with little activity which might be due to being Sunday and Ramadan. OK commentary of principal buildings and a bit of history. North side of river much less developed than southern side. Included in RM65 adult price orange juice and slice of lapis cake and about 15 mins of cultural dancing. Beer available. Trip goes up and down river. Good shade and breeze on upper deck. Many flags all around upper deck which get in the way of photos. Relaxing time and all staff service orientated.

The Sarawak River meanders through and splits Kuching City into its northern and southern parts on its way to the sea. If you have 1.5 hours to spare, this is an excellent way to take see another side of Kuching - the river view. The cruise starts at 5:30pm. You should arrive at least half an hour early to buy your ticket at the pier. Its about RM100.00 and includes some cake slices and a drink. Dont go on a rainy day.

    • Peaceful and Fun and It was also a minute walk from my hotel (Tune Hotels).

I was staying in Tune Hotels, which is on the Bay Front of Sarawak river and the River Safari was only a minute away from my place. I would say this is one of the best attraction in Kuching, because they take you through river of Sarawak showing all the old colonial structure dated back 18 century, the cultural dance performance and a live commentary makes it more amazing. Its is also very cheep, it only costs you 30 RMB, if you buy the ticket from any nearby hotel you are staying in.
