we stay two nights and was so great! so central, so characteristic and the breakfast is in the cafe' were you can meet people from the place and have a nice chat with them too, close you will find Le Scagliozze di Donna Carmela where you can eat great quality of traditional cuisine with the care and love and passion of generation. Is poor food but is the richest one too. The seaside has an amazing walk till Torre Quetta and all the city is sophisticated and clean and really beautiful.

Me and my boyfriend stayes here for 2 nights, this weekend. The property is in the very heart of the Old town, close to the center and about 10 minuts from the train station. It is also close to "Lungomare", that seams like "Promenade des anglais" ...The owner was very helpful with information, and he spoke a few words in English. The room was very clean, well equipped. For breakfats, we get Americano coffee, with milk, and with a delicious croassant, in one Cafeteria, near to the property.

We stayed here with friends for 3 nights and celebrated NY in Bari. The property is in the very heart of the Old town. We are very satisfied of our stay here. The owner was very helpful with information, even he spoke a few words in English. He made us a reservation for NY`s dinner. It was very clean, well equipped. We felt like a real italians. There was a real capuccino with a croasant in the cafeteria on the next street for breakfast.

    • Friendly B&B in Bari old town

Very helpful host who stayed up late to help us find a space to park and find an open restaurant. Rooms are spacious and clean and our room was quiet. Fridge and table nice to have. Only drawback is the very small shower. Also, no elevator, so make sure you travel light to climb several flights of stairs if you are on the third or 4th floor. But very good value for money.

    • Pleasant Bed and Breakfast in Bari Old Town but be aware of a few potential problems

      Reviewed 18 September 2016

My wife and I spent a few days in Bari in Italy and used this as a base to travel to nearby Matera and Alberobello. But Bari itself is very pleasant so give yourself about two full days to see the main sites. This bed and breakfast establishment is set in the old town. Our taxi from the airport could not enter the old town so we had get the taxi driver to call the owner to meet us at the entrance to the town and walk us about five minutes to the place. There are four rooms only in the establishment and no lift so be prepared to walk up a narrow stone stairway. You must press the light on each level to ascend to the next level. If you are able it may be an idea to choose a room on the first floor. The bedroom is quite spacious and there is a sink and fridge in the room where we stayed. But be aware that the bathroom/toliet is very tiny and the shower space is the narrowest that I have ever seen so if you are on the heavy side this may be a problem! As the establishment is on a narrow side street, you may be disturbed at night by the local residents who seem to sit out in the street for most of the evening and chat chat chat quite loudly! Breakfast is at a nearby cafe and consists of a cup of coffee and a pastry. Another thing worth noting and we only were made aware of this at the end of our stay is that only cash is accepted for payment. As we had not enough euros we had to go the bank in the new town to get money out. So be aware of this, particularly if you have to get to the airport for a morning flight. Fortunately our flight was not until after 4pm. The establishment is run by a father and son. They are very pleasant but their English is quite limited. Fortunately,my wife speaks a little Italian which helped. They do not live on site and can be called on a mobile number if the office is closed. The new town of Bari can be reached on foot in about fifteen minutes and the main central railway station in under thirty minutes if walking at a steady pace.
