I stayed there during the summer of 2018 for a few days. Carlos gave us detailed and useful information about the city and its touristic and local sites. Rosa was simply excellent, we enjoyed the generous breakfast with her and other visitors.

    • A truly wonderful home away from home

Rosa and Carlos are the perfect hosts. Nothing was too much trouble for them. They warmly welcomed us into their home and made us feel part of the family. We had a lovely quiet room with the added bonus of a roof terrace. As other guests have said the breakfast table was laden with wonderful local food, cakes, meats, cheeses, fruit, juices and a range of teas. They catered well for my gluten and lactose intolerance. There was a lovely cosmopolitain feel around the large breakfast table, as we were all introduced to each other and new friendships were formed. It was good to share experiences and meet so many nationalities and converse in a range of languages. Triana, is an amazing location. It is in the heart of the old ceramic district, so every corner, house, hallway, courtyard has beautiful tiles. Alfareria itself is a quiet cobbled street which leads easily into the heart of Triana and a range of restaurants, the market and riverside. Rosa and Carlos were a mine of information about Sevilla, and the best places to eat, see and visit. Carlos, happily helped us pre book visits to save queuing and found out train and bus times to various other places. The main historic building, palaces, museums and gardens, are all within walking distance, though you can hire bikes, as Sevilla has many bike routes in the city. We will definitely say here again when we revisit Sevilla.

    • Wonderful

The owners Rosa and Carlos could not possibly have been more friendly or more helpful. They were a mine of useful information and told us a lot we didn't know about Spanish culture and Seville. The location is excellent, much better than the crowded, touristy old town across the river. Triana has a much more local, Spanish vibe and each day we felt relieved and more relaxed just crossing the bridge to get back there. Each morning we enjoyed the walk along the river before crossing into the old town by the second bridge to the east. We always took this longer route as it was just such a pleasant, airy, open walk. Breakfast was expansive, with fresh orange, scrambled eggs, all kinds of sweet treats, fresh fruit and more. Having enjoyed our time with Rosa and Carlos so much, and in such a lovely location, wild horses wouldn't drag us to stay in the old town next time we come.
