Was really hoping for some wine with dinner after a long day of driving. Was super happy to find this place just outside my campground, with GREAT food choices. And wine. The menu was a bunch of nice choices. This is a place I would try to eat at if it was near me, it had many things that I enjoy. Also very grateful that they allowed dogs on the patio! That allowed us to sit down and enjoy ourselves.

Too bad the bartender is so rude because the place has good food and nice atmosphere. We went first time for early dinner during the week after what must have been a busy happy hour because most of the tables were not cleared yet. The male bartender hurried over and cleared a table for us to sit service was good and so was the food. Decided to go back Friday for dinner around 7:00 very busy people standing around waiting for tables seats opened up at the bar we sat and waited and waited female bartender went by said she would be right back. We knew she was busy but after 20 minutes of her walking by us completely ignoring us we got up and left. Not going back theres lots of other restaurants in the area that will treat you better. Go to Waldos.

this was our second time at canoe club. there a year ago and it was delightful. i called twice days before 0nly to get answering machine, left cell number and inquiry re reservation. never received call back. went there about 7 on an extremely hot humid eve when no one wanted to sit outside. place was packed. talked to kyle, the ,manager, and put name in. said would be 1/2 hour and we could have seat at bar in auxiliary room. waited, waited. no one asked if wed like to order drink. after 45 min., we had one of our party of 4 go to main bar and get us drinks. asked kyle how much longer. said he didnt know what i was talking about. never saw me. never told me to wait at bar etc. actually quite rude. he seemed very flustered. he offered the four of us a table the size of a frisbee about 15 min later. a very nice, competent young lady there, KELSEY, saw our dilemma and offered to get us menus, more drinks and dinner at the auxiliary bar. everything was excellent! great food, wine, dessert. she was a sweetheart. great place but need new manager.

We just had a wonderful dinner and listening to Johnny Rod. The food was absolutely delicious. The staff is friendly and so efficient and courteous. The ambiance and decor was outstanding. They feature a small gallery of local artists but no push to buy at all. Wish we lived closer.... or maybe not!!! I might be tempted to come here TOO often!!!
