My first visit here, and I am eager to return! Our room was very comfortable and well appointed, and I appreciated the private and peaceful patio. The landscaping on the grounds is simply gorgeous, too! My husband and I enjoyed walking outdoors and looking around. I felt so peaceful and tranquil. The dining options were excellent. Gracious service and very good food-I highly recommend.

oh my goodness. Pam had to work at U of A Saturday, we'd decided a few years ago after long days in Tucson to stay overnight- choosing this weekend at Arizona Inn after thinking about and having the property recommended for years we were not let down. Location close to the University, but the service, cuisine, amenities, landscape, the design put together by Isabella Selmes Ferguson Greenway King from almost 90 years ago to more than adequately withstand the test of time.......absolutely wonderful. Turn down service, full closet, robes, full bath, patio, tennis, badminton, croquet, table tennis, fitness center, fitness room, pool, the library which I'm sure movers and shakers from Tucson, AZ, and the United States made many pacts within it's walls (the Roosevelt's made the cross country trip here, as close friends of Isabella's), Sinatra, Gable, on and on. I'd love another day in the library to hang out reading classics from it's shelves copies dating back to the 18 and early 1900s. We've stayed at several properties of this same era where many celebrities had made a destination experiencing the tiny closets, horrible air conditioning/ventilation, bathrooms so tiny hard to believe John Wayne squeezed into them that we had no expectations here of anything else. But the foresight of Mrs. King from 90 years ago?? What a lady. Amazing, you have to read the King and AZ Inn history in a book compiled by her great grandson and is complimentary in the room

Had a birthday dinner with family and the food quality as well as the service has sadly gone down. My meal was served with a black hair in my the sauce. When brought to they servers attention, the food was removed and put on a new plate, without asking to remake the food or apologizing. We walked the grounds after lunch to take photos and were asked to leave, saying that the hotel was was paying guests only! We normally spend Christmas as hotel guests, and will be staying elsewhere under this staff. Its sad to see such a pretty resort that we have enjoyed over the years, take new management and service declines.

The entire experience was amazing. The grounds, the hotel, the food, it spoiled us for the rest of our trip! The hotel itself had many activities: pool, ping pong, croquet, tennis, etc which worked great for the kids. The dinner at night was spectacular! And I found the staff to be super helpful and nice. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful surroundings. Wonderful interior! We stayed in January 2019. The history is evident but with modern tech & touches. Our stay was in a private cabin (patio king upgrade), clean and spacious. A working fireplace for the January night chill. A pleasant short walk through the gorgeous grounds to the main building and gourmet dining room for excellent meals. Extremely helpful & knowledgeable staff. We would stay again and again.
