Found this park online as wanted a place for a relaxing walk before a pub lunch in an area we werent familiar with. Sat nav post code doesnt take you to the main entrance but brown park signs do! Signage is poor if you dont know the area. Red & purple walks shown online & on display boards but the signage only referenced places & not red or purple route! Signage to toilets poor & they leave a lot to be desired! However, it is a lovely place to enjoy a walk. Good paths. Lots of bird life. 2.50 to park all day.....need exact change. Overall. we felt it was a nice country park!

To be honest we was a bit disappointed with this place. no cafe / no toilets / to be honest just walks and lots of them sign post are pretty crap as you could get lost as its so massive. parking 2.50 all day which aint bad .. but if you want a free day out go to the north of the park theres a pub called the .. hope & anchor where its free to park and you can get some lunch or a drink and toilets.

This park had now changed their parking policy, you now have to pay at all of their car parks! 2.50 irrespective of length of time which for a family with young children is not ideal. Better to park on the streets and walk down/through.

This park is good. Plenty of walking and cycling distance. Natural views around always been good. Family place during day time. Most of the sunny day it get packed up with people and overflows the car park.

This place is always difficult to find, we had a few wrong turns, but got there eventually. This time we walked the canal-side path...the weather was bright and dry so the path was accessible. The last time we came most of the park was flooded, so it was nice to see it dry this time. We walked down the bird path sanctuary route on the way out, dipped into the bird-hide but nothing to see in the reeds today.
