    • Private Tour

      Reviewed 18 July 2019

Very disappointed... paid 130 Euros for a private tour for my husband and I. Our tour guide, a computer programmer who does tours on the side...really? He should probably stick with programming computers....people skills not so great. He seemed very disappointed when he met us and realized we were a private tour and not a group tour... not as big of a tip I guess... he seemed to have a preconceived notion about Americans...we didnt have a chance. He was very condescending and rude. I STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS TOUR!

    • Could be better

The attraction is impressive, but the organization not so much. For foreign tourists they have audioguides, while for national tourists they have a human guide. Besides the fact he was talking loud and I had problems hearing my audioguide, there seemed that a lot of info was transmitted only by the human guide. If you suffer of claustrophobia, do not do there, its pretty narrow at some point. Otherwise, impressive. The price was 8.5 per pers.

Its amazing how the Nuernberger loved and still love their beer. A labyrinth of transitions underneath the old city. Interesting stories from our guide

    • Beer cave Bomb Shelter

      Reviewed 16 January 2019

A fascinating tour of these Medieval caves that were also used as bomb shelters in WWII. We had a great guide who spoke very good English and was very knowledgeable. Tour ended with a nice tasting in a microbrewery/distillery. Highly recommend. Even my wife who was not that interested when we booked enjoyed the tour. We are slightly claustrophobic but was not a problem once we adjusted.

    • Ran out of Audioguides

      Reviewed 30 December 2018

Arrived 20 minutes before our tour started, ask for audio guides which were part of our tickets and we were told it was too early and we would get them soon, however all audio guides were given to others and we ended up doing the one hour tour without an English translation. No effort was made to assist us so ended up being a very dissatisfying experience.
