Too many issues to mention but certainly would not recommend. Following a very disappointing stay with my family in October we have still never received our compensation for our meal basis we were promised. Following lots of emails and phone calls on my part I have gotten nowhere.....absolutely appalling company.

I came a fortnight ago with my two daughters (24 and 21) and we all loved the place. Stayed half-board and booked 2 apartments. No exaggeration to say that mine was as big as my house and in retrospect all three of us could have easily stayed in the one and still felt spacious. Sure, there were occasional chips in the paintwork and some less than tidy grouting work, but really, does anyone really care that much on holiday? The place was very clean, the pool was gorgeous and the views stunning. The staff were really friendly and the evening entertainment was what you made it. My 24 year old actually enjoyed stroking 'Channel No. 5', the skunk, on 'Animal Show' night and it was something different. I gave the karaoke a bash as well (apologies to all there). The hotel advertises itself as a quiet family hotel so you are unlikely to get Bon Jovi playing live. We had a couple of more racy nights out in Playa da Ingles which was great and the taxis were cheap. The food potentially could have been slightly higher in quality but no problems with quantity and certainly good enough for us. I can only apologise for making a terrible mess every mealtime on thieir pristine white tablecloths. Both daughters (who like a lively time) said it was one of, if not the, best holidays they had been on so which says it all really.

Tried so hard not to believe the negative reviews as I like to see the good in things. BUT seriously this hotel needs to closed and fully refurbished (springs popping up on sofa, holes in sofa, shower tray cracked, walls absolutely revolting dishwasher broken, kitchen cupboards damaged beyond repair, hot tub didn't work. Pool missing more tiles than remaining huge cracks in pool wall.Fire alarms not attached lights not working in stairwell. My god I could go on EVERTHING needs updating including safety and cleaness. We choose in the end to go out every day to the beach as it was just to sad to spend time there. The ONLY positive is the staff they are so lovely and deserve a far brighter hotel to work in. If they invested the money and and updated the Bluebay Beach it could be an amazing hotel. But sadly that is truly not the case at the moment. Foot note. Not a place for teenagers as no night life unless you like Bingo,QOuiz night or stroke the skunk/snake/parrot night. You are charged for everything 60 for Wifi 25 for safe for pool towels. WOW....

Stayed here for 7 days. Room looked clean, kitchen seems ok, but no oven to cook food in, no kettle, no toaster, although you can toast bread in the microwave, but takes 15 mins as you have to toast one side at a time and the dishwasher did not work. Found out on arrival WIFI is 60 for 3 persons for 7 days, you have to pay to watch the TV in the room and pay to use the safe (35), never been to a resort where Ive had to pay for any of these items, I think this is very disappointing indeed. Breakfast seemed very good and good value, dinner is not the same standard as breakfast. The rooms are tired and the shower tray in one of the bathrooms was too dangerous to use as you could cut you feet on it. The level of cleaning in the rooms is not consistent or thorough. Towels are changed daily, but sometimes you dont get the same size towels back you leave out. Staff are very helpful, friendly and happy, which goes some way to minimise the other issues. Some of the rooms are a considerable walk from the swimming pool, I would ask for room near a lift as if you are in some of the far away rooms, its a 15 minute walk to the main reception/breakfast area, beware....
