Working in Grand Island, I stayed here one night. Trying to save a few bucks, I mean how bad could it be? Mistake. Pay the extra 15 bucks and get a real hotel. The whole place is falling apart. Room dirty. No answer at the desk 3 times, when trying to get wifi password. Others staying there seemed sketchy. You've been warned. I'll be checking my credit card bill.

The shower was leaking, the sink leaked all over the carpet and only had hot water.... all old dirty towels in the bathroom, along with sheets, pillows, and blankets... room smelled like must or mold.... I wouldnt recommend. Staff was helpful and friendly. I suppose you get what you pay for.

Made reservations on, some reviews good, some not so good. Well I can verify the bad reviews. We turned in our keys and got out as fast as possible! Just pure filth, un maintained, unsanitary conditions. DO NOT STAY HERE

    • Management adds Dishonesty on top of bad ethics.

      Reviewed 05 September 2018

Here are the FACTS I wish management to review. Seeking a possible 7 day stay for our daughter we checked out this hotel. When we were quoted the original 7-day rate, Jessica also quoted the daily rate, and she was very clear that the rate reverted back to the daily rate if the guest stayed less than the 7 days. Our daughter stayed only 3 days and checked out the morning of the 4th day, and she stopped in the office and informed the person there that she was checking out, turned in her keys. I called that very same morning to ask about the price adjustment and was told by Jessica she couldn't do it, but, she would leave a note for Angie. Why would she say this if no refund could be given? Four calls to the office over the next several days yielded nothing. Then, Angie said she would take care of it when she got to the hotel, and said the refund would be around $45-50. We were told this ! No credit was given to my credit card, more calls, nothing. Next we came to Grand Island to have a personal conversation. Now the excuses changed again. Angie said Mike (the owner) would have to OK the refund and she needed to speak with him and she would call me. No phone call, so, we returned to the hotel the next morning and now Angie tells us that refunds are only given SOMETIMES, and Mike said no in our instance, and offered no reason. We then asked to speak with Mike, and were given a card with his first name and phone number written on the back, thats all, no last name. Wouldnt you know, several calls to this phone number yielded NOTHING ! Regarding the pet policy: There were NO pets! Never once in all of our phone calls was it ever said that our daughter did not inform the hotel she was leaving. FYI: Jessica even had told me that the very same room was filled for 2 of the remaining days. Our question remains: Why no refund? How would we even know about the room rate reverting from a weekly rate back to a nightly rate if we had not been told that? How is our request for a partial refund not legitimate? If no refund was ever possible in the first place, why the run around? Why was everyone misleading and putting us off? This whole experience with this hotel and its employees has been a total nightmare! This hotel cannot be trusted with what they tell you!

    • Hotel as a basic LACK of honest business ETHICS

      Reviewed 01 September 2018

This is the first review I have ever written, but I was so disappointed with this hotel's lack of honest business ethics, I wanted others to know. We booked a week stay for our daughter at a discounted rate (we appreciated that), and at the time of booking, we were told if she didn't stay the entire 7 days, the rate would revert back to the standard daily rate. (that is nearly an exact quote). Our daughter stayed 3 nights, and checked out early on the morning of the 4th to save us some money. We figured, based on the daily rate we were quoted, the hotel owed us about $50 back. We called to seek that refund, and were told, "no - this is subject to the owners approval". What? Now you tell us? Then Angie proceeded to inform us that refunds like this are rarely given. Again, after our daughter checked out, you tell us now? I figured since the rate reverted back to the daily rate, which is what we were told, there was an incentive to check out early if the room wasn't needed for the full week. We saved this hotel 4 days use ! IF we had known they would renege on the refund, she would have stayed the additional 4 days. They kept our refund, bad business practice. Save yourself trouble and do not stay at this hotel ! They can not be trusted with what they tell you.
