We spent 5 nights at this wonderful agriturismo. Every night we were treated to 6 course meals, usually three appetizers, a pasta, a main course and a dessert made from local products - 30 different dishes in 5 days, not counting the special tarts snd cakes that changed evey morning at breakfast!! Henrique and Giorgio also offered generous pours of local wines turning each meal into a wine tasting extravaganza. Henrique was helpful in recommending different itineraries for each day, exploring the Alta Langhe, Monferrato, Torino, etc. I definitely give this place two thumbs up!

This family farm and agriturismo between the superb vineyards is very well located to visit the region! The pool is nice and refreshing in the sunny summer. The 'slow food' is very good. The food so honest and typical for the region. It is served by the family in a calm laid back fashion. No menu. You eat what is served. But one wouldn't want it any different! Breakfast is not what we prefer. We are Flemish and go for good dark kinds of bread. An Italian breakfast is with a bit of white bread and coockies and merinques . But the meat and cheese again is superb!!! We would certainly rerurn to this place. Rooms are simple, farm style! But there'severything one needs! Very nice white linnen and the bed sleep so good!

I would like to thank Giorgio and his son Henrique for letting us stay in their beautiful agriturismo. We where there with a camper and a seperate tent. This was no problem at all. When we arrived we where greeted with a bottle of Giorgio's own Astisecco and some snacks. It's a too bad that we didn't eat in his restaurant due to circumstances. But we will be back! Thanks again for your great hospitality and when you are in Amsterdam make sure to get in touch!

During our campertrip across Europe we choose to stay a night at the camper place with this Agriturismo. After a warm welcome we parked in the shade of a sun panel roof. From where we stood, on the top of a hill, we had a wonderful view over the mountains and valleys with vineyards that surrounded the property. We hooked on for electricity and the grandchildren went swimming in the pool. Dinner was used in the restaurant because one of the hotel-guests strongly advised so. There is no menu and all guest have to participate in the courses that are served. We were surprised with a 8 course dinner, served with property and local wines that perfectly were chosen by the host. Most ingredients where picked from the garden of the agriturismo. Owner Giorgio Cirio who served the courses and his son Henrique who cooked are fabulous host. We strongly advise everybody who is in the neighbourhood of Canelli to participate in the meals that will be cooked in the evenings.
