Very pleasant experience

I stayed at The Admiral for a couple of nights in late August. The whole place had a very cozy feel about it. The office looked like someones living room and later when I was out in the pool area, I felt like I was sitting in someones back yard. The common areas and my room were very clean and well maintained and all of the staff were very friendly and accommodating. There was ample parking and the spaces were nice and wide. One of my pet peeves is super tight parking spaces. The rooms appeared to be all the same size, and that size is extra small. I was alone in the room so it wasn't a real problem, but two people would need to be VERY, VERY comfortable with each other to share a room. The only other negative for me was a way too small and round toilet and seat. I'm bigger than the average dude, but the seat seemed comically small to me. This is the first time I've run into a round toilet in a hotel or motel. They should switch to oval shaped toilets ASAP. The price per night was very reasonable and the location of the hotel is perfect, just a really short walk to everything.

This motel felt like a hotel. It was clean, the beds were comfy, the towels were strong. Walking distance to everything. Definitely recommend folks to stay here. When I come back, my husband and I certainly will stay here again!

Very friendly staff and convenient location in downtown Lake George. Parking on the motel grounds was fantastic as the street parking became a challenge. I highly recommend this hotel and this town to relax and vacation.

We loved this place! Very clean, super accommodating and within walking distance to everything. Since the rooms are located in the back, there was no street noise, which was nice. The Marriott a few doors down has a great breakfast for a reasonable price with outside seating. The pool is nice and they even provide towels! Would like to see a new front door on the house the next time we come. It would improve the overall pool experience. We highly recommend the Admiral & Darrell the manager is awesome!!

Stayed with the wife and kids in a two queen bed room in early August. The room was very clean and bright. Water pressure in the shower was awesome. Very close to the village. The owner was very friendly and helpful. We need to track down a place to rent a wheelchair and he was able to help us find a place very easily. Would definitely stay there again.
